Is there any demo for HD669 at INSTRACO? Or any HD669 owner here to give a brief?

wondering if you guys actually genuinely wanted to own one.. or like my pal here who actually bought it just to poison others

For me I like those newbies to grow big and strong (based on their rig la)

putting bigger dose of poison (superlux in this case) will make them grow faster lol

Unfortunetly I'm not at the age of getting duit raya anymore. I'm married and had a kids. So you know lah......during hari raya a lot of money should be spent to buy baju raya, kasi duit raya...balik kampung.....haiaah.

I have to halt this madness for a while untill after raya.

I genuinely wanna own one. Coz lately I'm quite into DIY, and there seems to be a lot of interesting mods for this model. Also to fill in the boredom while saving up for HD650. If can poison my gf, also not bad, haha...

where exactly is it? i dropped by jalan pasar today and couldnt find it..

walk down all the way to almost the end... you will see an esso station. instraco is somewhere nearby that petrol kiosk

yea.. i was at esso station and walked around there for 10mins and couldn't see it..

no one had it 4 recabling?

there's a construction nearby punya.. try to recognize the logo (the shop looks pretty old).. and also, i dont think they open on sundays
btw.. besides superlux, i also find switchcraft plugs and canare amongst their goods

@kain.. this is superlux has a very diff sig as of HD650.. scared that if you got used to it, you will find it hard to change :/
in my opinion it sounds pretty close in between the beyer dt440 and sr60 .. tho i got a friend who was more impressed with superlux than the MS1

hitman did post regarding swapping the stock with direct canare to a dac ...tho without amp, it already sounds very close to the same with amp but stock cable... the canare is terminated with RCA and a female 3.5.. so didnt really try it out on a headphone amp

Contrary to what other say, I don't find 681 sound like 'V shaped equalizer', in fact I found it quite balanced even for someone like me who don't like too much bass. The bass is plentiful and comes in a large quantity but it doesn't overpower the entire spectrum so it doesn't annoy me who like more neutral sound, the high is quite nice, its way better than Sennheiser which have some sort of 'veil' on treble but its not piercing or shrill to hear. There is some sort of air too, feels like you hear through speaker. Headphone itself is light and very comfortable even when wearing glasses.

For the price, I don't think any other headphone could come close. Highly recommended for someone who new this audiophilia world

Don't have the recabled ksc75 for comparison. Maybe one fine day we can have a TT and find out.
No idea about the improvements either, since I don't own any other pair of headphones for comparison. Maybe I'll get my friend's virgin unit and do a comparison later.

Added on August 22, 2010, 9:34 pmThere are a few Instraco stores in Jalan Pasar itself. And their signboards are old, faded and obscure. So you'll have to search properly.
But they are on the main road, you'll definitely find it if you go shop to shop looking at the signboards.
And it's on the southern side of the road.
