The 7G doesn't really need that much pressure to click either. Quite effortless like a normal membrane keyboard.

yeah, hard to feel the difference, but it`s there. you can call a frequent laptop user to use the keyboard for a while, fingers will fatigue kinda fast.(not hardcore gamer) notworthy.gif

What? the USB soundcard is freaking bad. When it comes to music, it's on par with onboard soundcard. For your info, SS headphones arent the finest headset out there when audiophile headphones are included. But since u are FMJ(clan or person?) from counter strike, i would agreed SS headset works best on that game ONLY.
EDITED: My hands are pretty itchy lately. I am looking for new mousepad. 9HD better than qck heavy ah?
*
I have tried to use my 5HV2 without sound card , there is no different even using . Still the same , Kinda wasted around 50-60 for the sound card . haizz.

told u FMJ dominating here lol ^^
steelseries are aimed for gamers
and made it affordable to all gamers from 100-500 you can get so many kind of headset..
from design to performance, you can choose both cuz the siberiav2 offered both
y i say affordable? if compared to sennheiser's pc166 with steelseries 5hv2...we do have a winner dont we?
soundcard is for portable gaming cuz if you wanted the same sound on LAN then its ok,for audio use onboard is always a better choice
mois i got intelli 3.0 also, when tried to use it on my 4HD,you feel like scratching it..i would reccomend get the teflon feet from SS before you put the mouse on it.cuz 4HD gives a harsher sound out+ my IME 3.0 is 1 week old
QcK is a good pad for me done a lot of good job
im a SS supporter here, its all about personal preference lor
i liked it until now (from last year) mat and headset never failed me so far (except for my neckband which spoils after 1.4 years...will keep it as a collection)
I used the keyboard from laptop, cant hold on for 2 hours lol

I have both Xai and Intelli 3.0 and both 9HD and Qck, to me i prefer 9HD for both mice.
Its just my personal preference though, if you're using Xai i would recommend 9HD. It works great for me and also i recommended to some of my friends and they love it.

As far as i know 7G and Filco keyboards are almost the same as they use the same manufacuted keys (correct me if im wrong).
7G is built for gaming wise but i would say it works great with normal usage too. Some people prefer Filco because of the size, Filco Majestouch dont have numberpads which reduces 1/4 of 7G's size. But i would say the keys you're mentioning about is more or less the same. If you're talking about Laptop users than you should recommend Razor keyboards.
If you don't mind the size why not get 7G cuz the price difference is not big and there are manufacters in Malaysia.

actually all current Filco kbs are called Majestouch. the compact one is known as tenkeyless, they also got the regular full sized ones.
Filco obviously also got choices of black/brown/blue switches etc.
tho what the Filco doesnt have that the 7G has are multimedia keys which i use quite often.

agreed, that's all i said on the last post.

laptop users are more suited for Blue Cherry switches. As reviews says

Blue Cherry:
Typing 10/10
Gaming 9/10

Black Cherry:
Typing 5/10
Gaming 10/10.

Well there is me. I like the ZBoard because it has a tactile feel to the keys. And it's very versatile.

I remember there was a number of review sites critisizing the Zboard for it's lag latency in response time in games like Battlefield 2, thus making it unsuitable for FPS espicially those faster pace ones. Dunno if they solved it but it seems to be a hardware based shortcoming of the board.

Doesn't really seem to have any latency problems with mine. It might be the Z-Engine though.

soak in water for 30min
apply some soap(not with detergent ones or bleach)
brush it with a soft SOFT! brush
hang it to the clothesline
wait it dry

yea, the zboard felt pretty bad then.
before steelseries bought them over, there was even a BF2 keyset for it.
