I have 1Mbps standard package at Rm88 per month.
If I choose to upgrade to 2Mbps and pay Rm110 per month, what if the speed experience or what DIGI calls it "Likely Average Speed" is still the same? So, pay more for nothing extra? Remember the T&Cs.... Best Effort Basis only..... This post has been edited by cosmicmeadow: Nov 23 2009, 11:25 PM |

just wait and see... like before, they always put promotion for fee and installation waived, but still waived until today....
may be it will continue(extend)... this 'potong' war is really good...hehehe hope other isp reduce their price much2 more???? |

Worth it la..... but only for existing user... mean, telling those Streamyx DO NOT potong your streamyx line, while upgrade your Streamyx to enjoy Double SPEED. |

I think not worth for some of the older accounts. For example, I registered when Streamyx is stil 384kbps. Until now, I also pay the same price which is RM88 but my account already under 1.5mbps. If pay RM110 for 2mbps, definately not worth. Besides Im getting such speed now, and not sure Streamyx would be to offer these advertised speed after seeing those complaints in the forum.

I dont see any advantage here...
mine is standard package 512kbps with modem (actual speed is 1.5Mbps), rm88 as shown at the bill. now if I upgrade to 2Mbps, for the first 4 month, I need to pay rm99, mean I pay extra rm11 which is still consider worth a bit. but start from 5th month and onward, I need to pay rm110, mean 22 to get extra 0.5mbps faster which is not so worth |
