This is nothing new. It took me almost 3 weeks to have my registration appeared on their system when 4MBIT combo was initially launched.

Guys do u face any problem once I have upgraded from 512kbps to 1mb , my wireless router modem seems doesn not function in the wireless part...

my other coms now cant detect the wireless and cant on9...

pls help me...

Just got a question. The promotion said free for 4 months still stayed as RM66 (for 1mbps), then 5 months onwards RM71. . If once my package approved after 2~3 days,

Becos now already middle of month, how do they count the first 4 months that stayed as RM66, start and count from next month or what? Or they consider this month as the first month once upgraded? then i will lost and waste previous 10++ days of this first month for my 1mbps package...? How u guys think?

@kbteh Try to download file using hotfile.com or BitTorrent and use that to measure your speed. Sometimes speedtest are not so reliable when it comes to determining your speed.

PS: Make sure you configure your Download Manager or BitTorrent client before downloading a file.

i have had more time to test the upgrade to 1mbit. I am getting top speed of around 850k. It doesn't go higher than that. You think tm is capping speed in this sense? It never go higher than that.

anyone tried upgrading theirs right now? i keep getting this message:

"Service Number is currently under process UPGRADE/DOWNGRADE IPTV and cannot proceed."

problem only on my side or what?

What does your port speed in your modem show? 1024 means you will get approx 800+. If it shows more than 1024 like 2048, then your Streamyx account is capped at 1Mb.

Added on January 18, 2010, 3:48 pmAs the error message shows, it seems your account is in the process for adding IPTV. Did you subscribe to that? Best is to call 100 and ask them about it.

672k is below 70% of 1m, you can call to complain about this and they must fix for you.
