i suggest u rethink the hydra board, if u thinkin of pairing ati and nvidia u might as well scrap the hydra idea cause the latest demo they show and list the mixed card has 3 compatible games on it.....
my bad its more like 5 games lol ; ; http://vr-zone.com/forums/510362/msi-big-b...ility-list.html This post has been edited by kevink82: Dec 3 2009, 11:47 AM |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 3 2009, 12:10 PM) Hydra also has game support limitation? Wow i didn't know this i already post the answer about feser vs water. if you're using distilled water, you need to flush whenever you think it's a necessary for you to do that. BTW it's a still cheap source that you can pick up for your rig build. But i not recommend the distilled water for newbie setup. Mistake is always happen. What if fit 2 nvidia cards together, will there be any such restrictions? Or is it only applicable to cross brand cards? I'm now thinking if i should drop using Feser and just use distilled. I posted my question over in a more appropriate thread for it http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1126151/+20 And can someone advise me regarding water cooling maintenance? Why do i keep seeing the word flushing involved? Do i have to drain the water from the system every few months for total replacement? Or can i just replace as the water lessens? By using feser one liquid, you just need to top up if you see any dehydration happen in times to come. It gives you two years or maybe tilt before you can see any drop of performance, by that time you need to flush it and replace by using a new one. |

u can either use a t-line
example of a T-Line: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...ling_T-Line.JPG u have to dissamble ur system btw.. nothing in WC is easy to on ur pump.. take ur 24 pin Mobo PSU cable and short the green wire and a black one (any black one will do).. i use a pair of compasses for it Added on December 3, 2009, 7:44 pm QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 3 2009, 09:57 AM) Thx kInOzAwA and Reiben. I sorta understand a bit. u can fit both a 45 and 90 degree a block depends on how many inlet/outlet it has.. and u have to put a compression fittings on top of it.. So let me get this straight, for radiator, waterblocks, reservoir and pump there is an inlet and outlet port. Each port should have compression fittings also fixed with either a 45 or a 90 degree rotary each? So cpu block would have 1 compression and 1 rotary (either the 45 or the 90?) I hope i got this right Just as i suspected, i need to now get a modified pump mod top Modified MCP655 pump with the G1/4 port http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/sicumclad5wi.html Bitspower Gaudy mod add on http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/bid5mcmodkit.html EK power plain mod add on http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ekwaekxforla.html @kInOzAwA : No point using SLI for me until Hydra chip motherboards start coming out. It's more efficient at pairing graphics cards to get the most benefit for combined FPS increase, also you don't need graphics card connectors, and can use different models and brands. i'll upload some pictures to make u understand better i agree with u with the hydra thingy.. the drivers haven't mature yet.. buying the board now is like suicide unless ur testing it for fun (or have shitloads of money to waste This post has been edited by reiben05: Dec 3 2009, 07:44 PM |

if you are aquarium technology savvy it's a bit easy to assemble all these thing. More or less it's still have the same method like you assemble the canister pump like eheim to your aquarium setup.. it's still easy...

i think it will be hard to make top bit a fill port if by "top bit" u mean the bit with the little screw on it as u have to tighten it to make it a close loop system?
u can take the whole top off to add liquid though check if ur card is reference just strip the card and check the design on the block website. This post has been edited by kevink82: Dec 4 2009, 10:43 AM |
