QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 1 2009, 08:52 AM) The ccfl twin lights put at the top parallel. anyway what size of the tubing you would like to go then? clawhammer tubing is 1/2". Radiator inside case at the top. Not quite sure how to secure it there cauz i'm not an expert. Also need to make a hole on the top of the case to add in a AC Ryan stripe cover for some airflow for the 3 radiator fans. The reservoir just use the EK 250 reservoir put inside the case between the motherboard tray and the hard drive cage. Pump would be inside the case. Not sure if put it on case floor or should attach it somehow to the drive cage. hm.... Ok i will switch to 5 meter, thanks for advise. Just wish i knew more about compression and rotary fittings cause i know squat. If get wrong size g_g; |

any G1/4 will suit yours compression fitting size of 1/2 - 3/4. For every 90/45 degree rotaries you need compression fittings. 8 90 or 45 degrees mixed.
1. Swiftech MCP655 12v DC Pump - with Speed Controller - do not need any compression fitting or 90/45 degree unless you want to mod it using Bitspower mod kit & mod top. 2. Swiftech Apogee XT CPU Waterblock - a pair of compression fittings and 2 x 45 degree rotaries here. 3. Aqua Computer aquagraFX for GTX 285 (G200b) G1/4. You are not going for sLI? so need only a pair of compression fittings here and 2 x 45 @ 90 degree rotaries here. 4. EK Waterblocks EK-Multioption RES 250 rev.2 - you need another a pair of compression fittings and 2 x 45 @ 90 degree rotaries here. 5. 7 feet x Tygon R3603 1/2in. ID 3/4in. OD Laboratory Tubing # AAC00038 - this one no need compression fittings / 45 & 90 degree rotaries. hope this help you to get a conclusion. |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 3 2009, 12:10 PM) Hydra also has game support limitation? Wow i didn't know this i already post the answer about feser vs water. if you're using distilled water, you need to flush whenever you think it's a necessary for you to do that. BTW it's a still cheap source that you can pick up for your rig build. But i not recommend the distilled water for newbie setup. Mistake is always happen. What if fit 2 nvidia cards together, will there be any such restrictions? Or is it only applicable to cross brand cards? I'm now thinking if i should drop using Feser and just use distilled. I posted my question over in a more appropriate thread for it http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1126151/+20 And can someone advise me regarding water cooling maintenance? Why do i keep seeing the word flushing involved? Do i have to drain the water from the system every few months for total replacement? Or can i just replace as the water lessens? By using feser one liquid, you just need to top up if you see any dehydration happen in times to come. It gives you two years or maybe tilt before you can see any drop of performance, by that time you need to flush it and replace by using a new one. |

if you are aquarium technology savvy it's a bit easy to assemble all these thing. More or less it's still have the same method like you assemble the canister pump like eheim to your aquarium setup.. it's still easy...

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 4 2009, 03:20 PM) Ok for thermal paste the results say Noctua NT-H1 is the best lol.. actually Tuniq TX3 is the still the best for load. you can get it locally. The price around RM25 above. Still cheap though.. http://www.rbmods.com/content/16597/introduction.aspx A mouse bungee i'm ordering. My mouse wire has been annoying the hell out of me forever x_x; http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/890757 anyway, in case you want to get a GFX WB locally you can always find Clawhammer and ask/reconfirm your GC spec. He's the best on providing advice for new comers of WC. Anyway it's still easy to flush the water without using your mentioned item, only open up the reservoir top (EK multioption) and then just spill it out to other bekas.... |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 4 2009, 05:21 PM) Tuniq it is then, thx. that's a nice thing.. if its already stated that the tubing contains antimicrobial thing for what we need the biocide bro? maybe u should install it first then, let see how goes inside the tube. either its perfect runs or will have another problem like algae even with antimicrobial tubing. So, this will be a good source for the new comer later.... Kino i think i will change the tubing to Tygon® Silver Antimicrobial Tubing 1/2in. ID 3/4in. OD # AS600038 http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/tysiantu1id3.html Someone posted the difference between Tygon R3603 and Tygon Silver Antimicrobial http://www.overclock.net/water-cooling/434...r-vs-tygon.html Cause apparently this is better if opting to use distilled water (which is also non conductive by the way). Do i still need to use bio cide and a silver kill coil with that tubing? |

Seems my package has arrived at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, 40150 Subang, Selangor, Malaysia. your item should be arrive by tomorrow. there's no delivery on sunday if i'm not mistaken. And now it says 1 hour later that it was successfully arrived at a DHL facility in Kuala Lumpur. QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 13 2009, 08:53 PM) If thats the case better not then hahahha it depends on how you handle the computer... if it's on load 100% 24hrs soon what you said is true.. it's because when u oc the temp is not normal, that's why WC is a good solution for that... Susai: No i'm not rich. I just don't spend my money on outings, beer or any of those stuff. I use that money instead on my gaming rig :/ let's go extreme ocers...................... |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 14 2009, 01:32 PM) Don't worry, i will disclose everything (pictures included) once i have it all setup :} anyway bro, there's tons information over the internet.. you need to understand the oc fundamental and it's best to know the bios function, the max oc you can go and the max voltage you can go, apart from a good chipset selection for the rams, so you're freely to go OC anytime... in DDR2 most people's RAM selection is always a micron D9 chipset and they're OC while keep the latency of the ram as tight as possible... In normal Intel processor environment, the multiplier was locked in the bios, so the Front side bus (FSB) has been used for oc, if the PC cannot boot or crash that shows the voltage is not enough to supply the power to the proc, this time we need to raise up the voltage to a suitable measurement. Monitor your temp closely too. But it's not all about the voltage, sometimes RAM is one of the other factor of why the pc cannot be booted up. This is why extreme ocers always go for the higher ram value. The possibility to overclock it is better than lower value of ram. It's not worth if you go to premium watercooling stuff but u did not oc your pc. It waste a lot of money bro. Learn your bios function, mobo to mobo got different talent and different settings for bios. And the most advance bios is called Genie bios which is a part of DFI mobo. For newbie, i recommend you to choose a user friendly bios that's found on the Asus or Msi mobo. All has been separated very well (highlighted) to let you know the function. Gigabyte need to hit 'F1' when you're inside the bios to OC. So the MIT, Mobo intelligent tweaker will appear in a screen after short while. Please refer to first post in thread for any updates. As for the many questions, is because i'm a newbie and still learning :} it helped me decide what parts i was gonna get, so it was worth asking as it was a big help for me. So if you had helped me with my questions thx. You will get to see the final progress of this project :} lichyetan: I agree it should be overclocked. Sadly i am not sure how and not willing to try myself so i don't break my pc. I will check with Modernopc first and see if they can help Ps: I'm a stability cpu kinda guy Even when i don't OC, i noticed using my stock intel cooler, the heat gets up to 70c ... From what i understand, these Intel Cpus were only designed to take heat up to 80c, after that point it will start damaging the cpu. |

make a measurement to your rad width x height, put a mask tape on the top of the case while drawing the measurement there. and then cut it.
