i suggest u rethink the hydra board, if u thinkin of pairing ati and nvidia u might as well scrap the hydra idea cause the latest demo they show and list the mixed card has 3 compatible games on it.....
my bad its more like 5 games lol ; ; http://vr-zone.com/forums/510362/msi-big-b...ility-list.html This post has been edited by kevink82: Dec 3 2009, 11:47 AM |

i think it will be hard to make top bit a fill port if by "top bit" u mean the bit with the little screw on it as u have to tighten it to make it a close loop system?
u can take the whole top off to add liquid though check if ur card is reference just strip the card and check the design on the block website. This post has been edited by kevink82: Dec 4 2009, 10:43 AM |

mild overclock should be fine but i dont think modernopc will take any responsibility if ur hardware fail though. should give them a call and ask first.

depends on ur setup for overclocking and wut programs u run, ur worklog stats 1x triple radiator.
usually ppl running i7 with overclock use dual or triple rad on their own since it runs hot, if u add ur gpu into it then ill say the temp wont be that good if any different to ur air setup? u need to calculate how much heat it will put out and how fast ur radiator can remove those heat. |

keke yes u can ship it by urself and save a few or buy locally of course more expensive but u have the option of testing it out c if its working, and cosmestic scratch on parts u dont want before deciding to buy it or if it ends up faulty at least u have someone to blame rather than ship it back overseas and wait for replacement.
imo totally up to u i saw somewhere the xt block on sale for 59 usd, wut i really wonder is if i can ship a murdermod complete case here without and scratch lol..... maybe for next project ; ; |

nice fan controller, but plz dont stick ur pump in the fan controller simply cause it does not have enough power to drive one unless u feel like blowing somethin up.
if u read any review on fan controller no one has made one that has enough power to drive a pump no matter wut it says on the box. someone tested the lamptron with delta fans and there were some problems. ur mcp655 has flow settings on it use that instead. i think it looks better than the kaze master, but a claimed of 30w per channel is pretty unrealistic to me by looking at the pic.
no heatsink at all ; ; it will probably melt if u really put 30w through the thing on 1 channel. This post has been edited by kevink82: Dec 15 2009, 01:23 PM |

i recon just stick with the lian li stock, there isnt many 140mm fans on the market and none of them stands out a lot.
u sure u need 6 fans on the rad alone? its gonna add lots of noise and push pull config isnt that great since u already have good fans on them doing push. |

yes ill say gentle typhoon has been recommended by many as the ultimate radiator fan.
its not so much it has wonderful performance but rather its more balance. wut u want is low pressure drop when the air goes through the radiator fins. u wont notice much difference in temp so much maybe a 2-3c so i wont worry bout spending too much there. if u want ultimate cooling buy a marine aquarium chiller its like 1-2k ringgit and will chill water to 16c, i got one for my fish tank... if u dont mind the power bill its basically a aircon..... |
