hmmm..the setuo altho seems quite simple...but if u think about it can prove quite a hassle...first of all...where to put the reservoir, pump n radiator lol?outside?but where?lying about?
plus IMO the casing got loads of space...u can put the pump n res inside without much diff...y bother burdening urself by putting it outside? just my 2 cents.. |

I don't think your casing would fit a quad rad and even if it does, it would be a very very tight fit

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 20 2009, 11:54 AM) Well if you guys think it can be done good without laser i am willing to consider. Any thoughts though about the window mode? i'd say get a better fan for the rads.. slipstreams My old case just had the acrylic riveted into the aluminium from the outside of the side panel... or is there a better looking way of adding the window? I just want a simple looking square acrylic window with thick Ac Ryan acrylic. This is my pc specs CPU: Intel I7 920 Motherboard: P6T Deluxe V2 Memory: 3 sticks of 2gb Corsair Dominator DDR3 Casing: Lian Li PC-A71F This was the suggested package offered to me to resemble this other project http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1162196 1 x Swiftech Apogee XT LGA1366 & LGA1156 1 x aquagraFX for GTX 285 (G200b) 1 x Swiftech MCP655 1 x Swiftech 3 x 120mm radiator 3 x Scythe 120mm SlipStream SY1225SL12SH - 110 CFM 1 x EK-Multioption RES 250 rev.2 reservoir 12 x Bitspower Compression fittings 1/2" 3/4" 8 x Bitspower 45 degree 4 x Bitspower 90 degree rotaries 6 feet Feser UV White/Black 1/2in. OD tubing 1 x Logisys 2 x 30cm UV CCFL 1 x Bitspower Black Freezer AIX58NS - for Asus P6T/P6T V2 Deluxe 1 x Bitspower MOSII and MOS III Total = RM3xxx This is the new modified package i made after removing the motherboard chipset and mosfet cooling: 1 x Swiftech Apogee XT LGA1366 & LGA1156 1 x aquagraFX for GTX 285 (G200b) 1 x Swiftech MCP655 1 x Swiftech 3 x 120mm radiator 3 x Scythe 120mm SlipStream SY1225SL12SH - 110 CFM 1 x EK-Multioption RES 250 rev.2 reservoir 8 x Bitspower Compression fittings 1/2" 3/4" 4 x Bitspower 45 degree 4 x Bitspower 90 degree rotaries 6 feet Feser UV White/Black 1/2in. OD tubing 1 x Logisys 2 x 30cm UV CCFL Total = RM2xxx I removed the motherboard chipset and mosfet water cooler parts because i am anticipating upgrading to a better motherboard next year once USB3 and SATA 6GBs all finally become mainstream. So no point investing in a water block specific for the Asus P6T Deluxe V2 yes? Any comments regarding this setup? And is water cooling really necessary for my Nvidia 285 graphics card or can i remove that from my setup to cut costs? |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 25 2009, 08:31 PM) I took some pictures of my case (low res :[ ) If there are no screw holes, you will have to drill some. Even a TJ07 suffers the same issue I'll try upload But looking at it, there doesn't seem to be a place to attach the radiator at the top. Do i need to drill hole or something? One case that I know of that is ready for top mount radiator is the CM HAF932. Nways, looks like its gonna be a good mod. Cant wait for more progress |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 25 2009, 08:31 PM) I took some pictures of my case (low res :[ ) yep.. i had to cut and drill mine, remember if ur cutting with dremel/rotaratory tools, always cut 0.5cm away then the original measurement cause u will need to file it (they dont produce sharp cuts, instead wavy ones).. I'll try upload But looking at it, there doesn't seem to be a place to attach the radiator at the top. Do i need to drill hole or something? QUOTE(tesla_rage @ Nov 25 2009, 10:07 PM) If there are no screw holes, you will have to drill some. Even a TJ07 suffers the same issue the obsidian 800D got pre-drilled screw holes for 360 rad.. not sure what rads can fit, maybe standard ones can but the old thermochill which have a bigger gap between the screws might not be able to fit..One case that I know of that is ready for top mount radiator is the CM HAF932.
