TYPE R color will always be or better known as "Champion White". Previous generations of TYPE R always comes with this color  thumbup.gif

Bros, I would like to know why you guys opted for CITY instead of FORTE even though CITY has a very long queue ahead.....
*
Bro, I think u should test drive both cars... For me, if I don't mind the second hand value and "lousier" service centres, I will definately get the Forte.. The accessories are amazing, 6 airbags, keyless entry etc.. 17" rims also with better tyres than lousy City tyres...

Heard and read in TeamCity most NHC change to 17" rims regret cause no power in pick up.. smile.gif

Nolar, NAZA KIA is definitely out of the question for me. HONDA all the way.

Why did you friend changed to 17" when he is very well aware that CITY has only a 1.5litre engine?? shakehead.gif

branding always play a part in a buyer's decision...some may opt for more established brands, e.g Honda, Toyota...while some may go for the Forte's bang-for-the-buck...

i personally will choose the Honda City over Forte...but that's just me! tongue.gif

I would suggest to ask ur fren to give u the contact details of the bank officer, u contact the bank officer directly. BTW, how do u apply ur loan, via SA or u apply urself? As far as I know, the interest is fixed across the board, the bank officer just cannot just offer u different rate due to different credit risk (unlike house loan)

If really got such offer, u ask them to change the rate ler, if they dont allowed, dont take from them, go ask ur fren the bank officer contact. But, the bad thing is they might further delay ur car delivery, coz u change loan.
*
Hi wtfoo1, u get ur car edi? My loan was applied by my SA and I got the Maybank officer hp number. So, I will call her and ask. see how thn.. biggrin.gif

Thanks!

Yesterday my SA said, Maybank offer 3.0% for 9 years so for 7 years, I think should around 2.8%-3.0%.
*
Noted...will call and double confirm v her. So, r u taking loan from Maybank also? smile.gif

TQ!

Yeap, just got it last week, Tue to be exact. rclxms.gif Enjoying every bit of it, all can summarise in one word, superb, so far, no issues, only minor teething problems, bring back to SC to rectify. Partially my fault too, didnt check the car properly when take delivery (coz rushing for time, and the SA shakehead.gif not reconmended, just explain standard stuff, not helpful, only $$$ minded, unless u r really seasoned car buyer, only interested with discount, definitely no for first time car buyer like me)

Yes. In addition to the standard Honda checklist provided by SA for u to sign off when u accept delivery of ur car, pls check for interior fittings, those "plastic thingy" in the car, see got anything loose or not (these is not included in the checklist). My case, the aircon vent on the passenger side dashboard come off. So, got to bring back to SC to get it fixed, even though FOC, but, time wasted. doh.gif

Hope u get ur car soon and enjoy the ride (I think u will, coz I believe u already done extensive research before u decide rite). Oso, u will realised, when u driving, others drivers will become more courteous to u, maybe c u new, nice car, but oso, some idiot will purposely bully u too.

really funny, as u admit lousier service center, and forte has a lot electronic devices, can u ensure ur device will work well all the time? if break down, hope ur lousier service center can help u out... lol...

if a car cant fit 17" rims then means not worth to buy? laugh.gif
come back with a proof that 1.6 forte with 18" rim can be powerfull... laugh.gif

Kia Forte seems very promising in every aspect but Kia quality record have keep us away. No saying Honda record was very good but at least better then Kia, i think. Somehow, when i saw Kia Forte at showroom for the first time, i tot it was same standard with Honda Civic. The build quality was very solid or maybe better.

Anyway, i am a satisfy Honda City driver here. tongue.gif

Hi Elru, have you booked NHC?Been seeing you around here for so long....

Maybe this thing has been posted earlier but for those who don't know, check out J.D Power Initial
Quality Study report and it says NHC has the least reported problems(76/100cars) in its segment and the second best was Vios but at a distance with 107problem/100cars. So for those out there who still contemplating between NHC or Vios.....do I have to say more..

W.Rook...may I know where can I read the report online, if any? Coz bit curious which country NHC that they used, coz although I agreed that NHC overall a good car, but, somehow, due to our NHC is CKD, the assembling part sometime I found bit screwed up ler.

hey W.ROOK, sad to say not yet, as my current ride is still in operational condition...sigh.... im using my supposedly dp to generate some extra money so no need to commit too long for it when i buy. nevertheless, NHC is still my favorite car among 1.5 class.
