Just want to ask as I'm driving the Honda City E Spec, do you all feel that the wind noise or the tyre noise is more obvious compared to say the S type City. I was previously driving the Suzuki SX4 Hatchback and I felt that the sound insulation is better in that car. In my City, it is not any rattling sound but definitely the wind sound. I mean whenever a motorbike drive pass, the exhaust sound is quite obvious. Thus, I'm just wandering whether it is due to the typre profile (for E, it is 55 right) and the tyre width (185). It feels strange that the car of this quality could have this obvious fault. Does anyone share similar thoughts?

Wrong bro... Thicker tyre less road noise lah... Thinner / Low profile tyres more noisy... I'm using 40 series.. Noisy 55 should be ok, very subjective.. Different ppl different tolerant level

Well yeah, with the SX4, it comes with a 65 series tyres. Just felt the insulation is better on that and you feel enclosed in the car without much sound disturbance. Having driven that car for awhile, it might take a bit time to get use to as driving the City. Nonetheless, as the City is fairly new, I'm still taking my time enjoying the car and hopefully it doesn't disappoint. Anyway to all prospective City owners, it is still a damn fine car to drive. Don't let this deter you, have fun.

QUOTE(bjay1482 @ Apr 5 2010, 11:49 AM) if you are claiming insurance, go back to honda SC and you should have peace of mind everything is done according to honda's spec. And if your car is 1st year after purchase, by right you should be covered under HIP, honda's insurance program which will have quick approval and bla bla.. unless of course u opt for other insurance when u purchase the car. sorry to hear bout ur car's damage. Those are idiots! thx for ur reply.. well, i am headache abt this coz i just renew my insurance a month ago which i opt for MAA insurance due to my relative working for MAA. I have called the Honda but they only do claiming for Tokyo Marine, not others at all. regret that i shld go back tokyo marine when renewing the 2nd year. anyway, MAA providing me their panels are all workshop outside and none is Honda centre. sigh... really dunno wat to do..

QUOTE(kindaichi @ Apr 6 2010, 05:36 PM) SmartTag is not using touch n go?? It is a reader rite? Need to put anything like card etc inside? Ya, SmartTag is using together with Touch & Go Card. I using it on my Waja and NHC. (1 Smart Tag only) SmartTAG, (Acronym in Malay: Sistem Membayar Automatik Rangkaian Tol = Toll Network Automatic Payment Systems) is an on-board unit (OBU) vehicle-based device used as an electronic toll collection (ETC) system over long distances (maximum 15 metres) to complement Touch 'n Go, a card-based system. This post has been edited by aarex: Apr 6 2010, 06:24 PM

QUOTE(jytanx @ Apr 6 2010, 06:56 PM) Going to go choose my number tomorrow. Have a short question. I paid RM210 and the SA told me I can choose the number. WTx xxxx. Does that means I get to choose the number from 1xxx - 9xxx or what? need immediate answer. thanks! and yes! i know i cant buy the number that people already tender. i was just curious whether i can choose from 1xxx - 9xxx? if they are available, u can even buy 1 or 2 character older numbers if they are still available. go check the below website, the latest number is already WTT 2317, so i believe any number from that 1 onwards will do. http://www.jpj.gov.my/malay/plateno.htm

When a new series is released ie WTT, all numbers from 1 to 9999 can be purchased at anytime - assuming it is not already purchased. I already bought WTT 8xxx but car also hav not seen. so the number at the JPJ website i think is really what was the last number purchased... not in series
