Hey guys, need your advise and help here.

I just got my City 2 weeks back and yesterday when decided to wash the car, I realised that my driver's side car mat is soaked with wet. And when I took out the mat, I realised that the floorboard is wet as well. Literally soaked. What do you think is the issue here? I'm heading to check with the service centre later but I was thinking maybe any of you guys could help out first. Well for sure, I didn't misplaced any water bottle and the water leaked. So, it is strange with just my driver side being affected. Any idea anyone?

Well yeah the door and window is shut tight. I heard about the rubber seal may be the cause to the leakage but I do think it is not the case. Well, just checked with Honda at Sg. Penchala and according to the service manager, this is the first time he's facing this kinda problem. He added that it might take 3-4 days to fully check the error. Its frustrating considering that I took the car only last week. I wander how did the car got pass inspection?

Just wanna check on the first service 1000 KM, do they change the engine oil? Because my car which i've gotten a couple weeks back is at the service centre (not doing first service, BIG issue with the car body) and the mileage is around 600 KM. Should I just proceed with the first service before collecting my car?

Yeah, the body had a small hole causing leakage from the wiper area to the driver floorboard. It was really frustrating to say the least. Any idea of how to lodge the best complain to Honda Malaysia?

Just want to ask as I'm driving the Honda City E Spec, do you all feel that the wind noise or the tyre noise is more obvious compared to say the S type City. I was previously driving the Suzuki SX4 Hatchback and I felt that the sound insulation is better in that car. In my City, it is not any rattling sound but definitely the wind sound. I mean whenever a motorbike drive pass, the exhaust sound is quite obvious. Thus, I'm just wandering whether it is due to the typre profile (for E, it is 55 right) and the tyre width (185). It feels strange that the car of this quality could have this obvious fault. Does anyone share similar thoughts?

Well yeah, with the SX4, it comes with a 65 series tyres. Just felt the insulation is better on that and you feel enclosed in the car without much sound disturbance. Having driven that car for awhile, it might take a bit time to get use to as driving the City. Nonetheless, as the City is fairly new, I'm still taking my time enjoying the car and hopefully it doesn't disappoint. Anyway to all prospective City owners, it is still a damn fine car to drive. Don't let this deter you, have fun.
