i think the waja forum got a list. but normally you can take the car and check it out later. anything not right can be fixed during first service.

we normally hear a tick sound when rpm at 3800rpm for waja. some users hear it, some don't. maybe its the level of NVH in the car difference? mine i can hear quite obvious. you can feel the sudden oomph in your acceleration too...

Use 97 and the feeling is much more noticeable compared to 95. But VPower still the best. brows.gif

Jctasoga, where did you do the boot soudproof? Maybe tomorrow will go and do it. nod.gif

I almost finish reading CPS thread Version 2 and saw this :

1. Check through all the items in Proton Edar Check list.
2. Power window
3. Side Mirror – Function or not
4. Reverse Sensor
5. Body Paint
6. Door alignment / Easy open for Doors
7. Weather Strip condition
8. Check chassis number for the manufacture year.
9. Check for cushion on BaseLine model
10. Make sure the mileage is between 2-20km
…..(anything more than that you may reject the car)
11. Roof lining (check for fitting and no stains on it)
12. Try all the switches on Central console and switches on steering and stick switches.
13. check on paint matching on body, spoiler and bumpers
14. Make sure there is enough fuel to reach the nearest station.
15. Take the SA and drive for a short trip for inspection on driving.
16. Take your time for checking, do not pickup your car during rainy day and avoid afternoon and evening.

Get all this from forum… Maybe it useful…

The break-in already done on a machine before the engine is mounted in the chassis. And don't forget that the QC engineer already trashed out the car before it rolled out of the factory.

You think they don't? I know I will. brows.gif Even my SA told me to rev the car so any problem can be rectified early.

Nope, but knew one. brows.gif Revving during the engine still new also will prevent metal debris (from manufacturing) from sticking so it can be flushed out during the 1k km service.

Depend on which part I guess. Some part are applied with anti rust, so if its still rusting, you can reject it.

8. How to check manufacture year thru chassis number??
No idea.

10. I tot the car already under your name, so easy can reject? How if the SA said the car is drive over/not bring over in contenna one? 100-150KM++ is acceptable?
100km I think is too much already. Afraid that the car might have been used as an unofficial test drive car.

11. What is this??
what 'what'? hmm.gif

16. Why need to avoid afternoon??
Actually, you should go when the sun is bright. Can easily see scratch, swirl, and dent.

Haha.. Took this from others forum as well.. Some ask me can reject if mileage? Not sure about 'reject' term, but if mileage are too high, afraid it is a nonofficial test car.. For evening
(dark), just to make sure we can check properly only. Maybe car is park at open area (raining/ hot afternoon), so we overlook some major thing.
