QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 22 2009, 10:01 PM) like someone mention in Paultan website, Proton should launch the Persona CPS after new WAJA with new engine come out... Few more pictures you can see: HEREWaja with turbocharged engine?

QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 22 2009, 10:41 PM) Sekali test charge Rm65 at SC. But SC staff should be able to do it for free... QUOTE(clsia1001 @ Nov 22 2009, 10:56 PM) Hi all, The Persona facelift still be using Campro IAFM engine with new ECU? What is the different between current & new ECU? :erm: Interior (dashboard) still the same? Any spyshot on the price? :brows: More bits size, more mapping point, more variables, more calculation per sec, thus better power and FC (theoretically).

QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 23 2009, 04:26 PM) yeah... that why every week i use PDT to tune my TPS to 100%. But it hard to get 100%.. I tried get 93% only.. If got 100% got tps, it more fun to drive with. hehe. remap or retune ECU can't do in SC. SC didn't provide this service. It only can re-tune back by following original spec and SC wont do this cause it used alot of time. Yours is continental ECU? I can help you modified the VIM to increase better power but fc will increase too.. that day I see some member saying about the TC light on our meter. I take out a waja cps meter and check. It had many icon is not using like safety belt, tc and etc... Proton put that for suka suka. If you wan that light on, install bulb to it. About the throttle position sensor, is it using potentiometer (variable resistor)? Wanna do some project on that. If you take out the meter panel, please make a photo document of it for members to DIY, maybe can sell them online.

QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 23 2009, 10:32 PM) you mean the potentiometer on the accelerate pedal? What you gonna do on it? I tried alot with it and it not help while some make it worst.. Try tell me what you did and we discuss on it.. I only did modification on VIM on waja cps. It helped alot. 1st you use a multimeter and get the output voltage for 0% and 100% throttle to the ECU (correct or not, throttle to ecu and then ecu control the TB?). The idea is tu put some sort of amplifier to amplify the signal but the amplifier must also be adjustable, so we can change the 'sharpness' of the throttle. Added on November 23, 2009, 11:02 pmAnother way is to put a resistor in parallel with the potentiometer. But I need to know the resistance for 0% and 100% throttle. QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 24 2009, 07:54 PM) Yeah.. throttle -> Ecu ->TB Can you get me the signal (should be in form of voltage values) feed into the ECU using a multimeter?

QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 24 2009, 08:07 PM) Huh.. This is not easy as need to dismantle alot of stuff and find the correct wire to ecu. Though so. But this is an interesting project. Can use microcontroller and set 3 predefined setting for eco, normal and sport, and can change between them as we like.

QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 24 2009, 09:37 PM) Oh.. My friend having that device but is for Vtec. This is interesting. Cause I thinking to use that vtec device and mod into our cps. VIM mod it need to drill the VIM there and need some time to do.. RM1k is enough but not include the rear GTi anti roll bar. If you interested, i help u check the price and then change at my working SC. If my idea can be done, it should cost less than RM50 per device.

Mine is the old campro waja owners manual, not the cps ver.

QUOTE(pedanglaut @ Dec 1 2009, 04:20 PM) i'm planning to install lcp i'm kinda tired wif the DBW lag isit true lcp can reduce the top end power?you lost top speed which one better zerone, redline, jasma (cant afford mytheology) LCP doesn't decrease top speed but the engine braking will be 'harder' since the momentum stored in LCP is less than stock and you need to control the throttle more when climbing uphill. But in return, you can build speed faster. Not sure about brand, but last time I used Aerospeed brand.

QUOTE(pedanglaut @ Dec 1 2009, 05:01 PM) Hmmm ic actually my car mileage soon reach 40k so i'm planning to build my car extensively like: 1. full exhaust system (wai heng) once again the argument bout the piping size and type of extractor (4-1 or 4-2-1) 2. k&n drop in filter (already order) 3. Denso iridium power (oledi buy) 4. LCP (not sure it will necessary with above mod) 5. Bendix Metal King brake pads + disc skimming 6. Upgrade the engine oil from synthium 800 15w50 to castrol magnetec 10w40 i oledi go to wai heng sunway they quote rm800-900 for full exhaust system..isit ok guys with my mod? Just do it. My next oil change will be Castrol Edge 5w40 (RM160+gift) and got to prepare extra budget for 60k km major service.

QUOTE(jctasoga @ Dec 2 2009, 09:16 AM) pedang laut: go for it but i agree with ahpaul, can get the hotbits full set with some topup. i prefer to get the header and leave the rest untouched. singchai: i used 5w-30 bardhal fully synthetic and it does sounds rougher than the previous 5w-40 shell fully syn i used. currently using semi syn 10w-40 from shell green bottle. engine more quieter. however, lower viscocity number give u better mileage due to lesser restriction (maybe less protection?) jvipers: i wouldn't dare to stretch that long. max also 7500kms at most and need to change filter also.. hehe.. But if you get hotbit, you cannot leave the rest untouch since the piping size is different. I'm using Mobil 1 10w50 right now and its quieter than my previous Helix Ultra 5w40, but can feel slightly heavier when accelerating.
