How to see? Tomorrow will download the manual and explore...
Another weird thing is the the TPS is only 75% max.

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 7 2009, 07:38 PM) that's extremely weird of 75% max! In other words u can't get 100% performance from the piggy. Did they calibrate the TPS? They already done the setting and it still 75%I'm curious what they set for below items:- Sensor Type - Pressure? In (?) / Out (?) Car select - Cylinder 4? Thr (up or down?) Thr point - Low THR (?%) / High THR (?%) Air Map - Low setting each rpm / High Setting eah rpm About the item the set... cannot see clearly as the tuner do it really quick as if he already know the setting. |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 7 2009, 08:47 PM) Added on December 7, 2009, 8:48 pm ahh now I remember, there is 1 time I face the same problem as yours where I connected the Throttle Signal to Engine coolant temperature sensor (+5V). I unable to get full throttle as well. I'm very sure the Throttle signal has been connected wrongly. Added on December 7, 2009, 8:50 pm have u changed your spark plug? |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 7 2009, 10:03 PM) sure u'll see it displayed accordingly but the actual Tb opening is not 100% when it suppose to be. Noted. Pay attention on some funny or abnormal of ur car these few days. Quite strange if its not 100% opening but still got the same top speed/power when full throttle. I think the installer lazy abit and skip on some part because I remember that the wiring diagram got extra pair of 1kohm resistor arrange as a voltage divider for the TPS before going into the SAFC, but not sure since I just took a peek. |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 8 2009, 08:04 AM) I'm not so sure about SAFC unless I have a view on the wiring layout but if AFC Neo then I can quite firm on the wiring portion. So for you case the piggy will always assume 75% = 100% throttle, therefore your setting at Thr point (High THR %) has to be 50%. Which means when you hit >=50% of the throttle, piggy will load High THR Air Map. If not mistaken For my car, i set it as below High THR = 75% Low THR = 30% High THR = 60% |

SRS= Secondary restrain system, such as airbags. I assume primary would be the safety belt. Not sure bout pre-tensioner though, but its prevent you from plunging forward during an accident, maybe also part of SRS.

QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 8 2009, 08:08 PM) maybe when srs got problem, then it will light on? Yeah, usually the light only on when something bad happen.Added on December 8, 2009, 8:09 pm i guess so.. there got pre tensioner seat belt (srs) installed on front both safety belt on waja cps. Pretensioner works with the sensor (I assume its the same for airbags) to pull you back instead of limting your movement during crash like the clamp system. Added on December 8, 2009, 8:15 pmAnyway, I can find out which wire is the throttle position for the ECU by following the wiring of my SAFC. But no time to do it... QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 8 2009, 09:22 PM) To tune the air/fuel ratio. Only works during open loop (throttle more than 60%). Else the ECU kept correcting the ratio, the operator show me this while he's tuning on dyno. The change done by the ECU is very fast. Not much power improvement but the vibration at 3k++ rpm is gone and it looks really nice. |

Just had a long drive from BP to S.Alam. The SAFC really makes the driving smooth. Before this I usually cruise at either 110 or 140 since the speed in between makes the engine vibrate and makes irritating sound. Now its gone.
Added on December 9, 2009, 8:43 pmAnd I notice there's an improvement in FC, will update after re-fill. This post has been edited by sphiroth: Dec 9 2009, 08:43 PM |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 10 2009, 07:43 AM) QUOTE(pearjar @ Dec 10 2009, 08:16 AM) No scanner at the moment. But the dyno is different from the previous system. The operator takes BHP reading at several rpm interval and the computer interpolate the values in between. The previous system can see the graph being drawn while the operator press the throttle. |
