QUOTE(hata_yie @ Dec 3 2009, 10:34 PM) memang proton CPS punya engin bagus ke? aku dgr2 nak pakai CPS untuk model waja (body mitsubishi lancer 2009) tahun depan, btl ke? I doubt that they will use cps 1.6 for the new waja (with the lancer body) unless its the T version. And afaik, the only confirm model next year is facelifted Persona. |

QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 4 2009, 02:46 PM) Most of the EFI engine need bleed the cooling system when flush to change new coolant. In campro, bleeding is so important. Or else, will cause overheating. =) Yeah, because Campro and CPS engine is indeed HOT. BTW, helping a friend selling sport rim http://www.mudah.my/New-15-inch-Enkei-Riva...6542.htm?last=1 |

QUOTE(jctasoga @ Dec 5 2009, 11:09 PM) actually, from the graph, does it tells us that the max rpm should be 5000rpm for the max power? coz after that the torque and PS starts to fall off. Yeah, the max power is around that (the same also mentioned in the spec) which I think is quite weird, usually power will kept climbing while torque may have drop.is it same in each gear? Dyno are done in 1 gear, usually 3rd gear for MT. Added on December 5, 2009, 11:22 pmMy dyno shows the power drop after 6.5k rpm This post has been edited by sphiroth: Dec 5 2009, 11:22 PM |

Just back from installing/tuning safc
Power are now rated at 119, +5 from before. But no torque on wheel since they use dastek dyno. According to them it measure bhp, meaning they push a button at certain rpm and the dyno 'brake' for a while and power is calculated. But car feel lighter (maybe mental effect only) but the engine vibrating at 3++k rpm is gone. Wonder how can that happen.. And it looks really nice Will post pic and dyno later... too tired... |
