i think it comes standard to all proton cars... waja wira sure got..especially if u left ur headlight on with ur engine off and your driver doors opened.

waja got another function where if u left the keys in the ignition and open the driver door, it will keep beeping. not sure abt this function on gen2.

My car will sometime beeping although the door is closed

eastwest: get the door button/sensor checked. means the connection is loose or going to KO soon.

my driver side door sensor KO the first week after getting the car...

Added on January 3, 2010, 12:53 amspeed detector can't be used here....unless u can find those model 8-10 years back. The new model are too advance to be use in our country. I have 2 laid at my room. But able to track certain walkie talkie activity.

If can ask ur collegue to get some performance used parts, it will be very very cheap.

Im not sure if got install knock sensor. im using waja cps. and YES, the proble mis the left front passenger side door sensor. eventhough i close the door very tight, i push a little, the door light open. means the door is not properly closed. but now i cabut the alarm on the left front passenger.


anyway, i want to know. how long is the warranty? waja cps? i bought it around july. WSS. 2 years or 200k millage?
my waja only 8k+ km until today :|

Added on January 3, 2010, 11:36 amu got 1 problem only : door sensor not aligned properly. i'm not sure if its adjustable (ie the sensor can be 'deeper' or 'shallower'; need to ask singchaii abt this). otherwise, juz get a piece of rubber and put on ur door that contacts with the sensor. it will make sure the sensor is less sensitive.

knock sensor not standard item. it doesn't come with car unless u installed it outside. it is a bit of a nuisance if the thunder is very loud...makes the alarm goes off.

standard waja warranty is 2+3yrs. 2 years proton n 1 year from P&O insurance. i'm not too sure abt P&O coverage but it seems P&O only covers the engine parts.

The only problem is that Yen is quite high nowadays. Maybe will buy Raizin blue since there's a lot of imitation here in Malaysia.

If the key is in ON position with front headlight on, no sound.
if no key + driver door open, buzz sound will appear to remind you to turn off the headlight.
