my problem even worse that slowdown....my problem were...when host wc3 dota game,after start game 1minute straight DC all. DSL light okay i cant surf or play online game which is i hav to restart da modem i only could be able to online

yours macam 384kbps package wat is your actual package speed?

at here, streamyx disconnect more frequent and the speed slows down too.
what exactly is the problem with streamyx!

Today my speedtest gave me an astonishing result~

WTF.whole Tanjung Malim connection few month until now still unfixed!

Anything that requires streaming doesn't work(Youtube, IGN) and they call themselves STREAMyx. What a joke!

Why izzit i alwiz cannot test the packet loss?

Maybe you should try downloading a few files at the same time (and see if u are getting a higher d/l speed: ADD the d/l speed for the diff files)
If you are using some FREE direct d/l service there is a limit on the maximum speed imposed by them
(i'm not sure what's the max and it might and should be diff for diff sites)

for 4 Mbps, u should be able to get around 500kB/s (notice the DIFFERENCE between "b" and "B")

so it's (4 Mbps = 500 kB/s) you can state your speed in b (bits) or B (bytes).

Actually your ping to a local server at 11 Mbps is much HIGHER than the speed you subscribe (which is good)
Try ping some INTERNATIONAL servers e.g. US, German (Europe) ...... as most of the d/l sites are hosted
there n see if u r getting a good speed.

BTW I assume u are getting d/l speed at around 250 kB/s and not 250 kb/s
which is around half the max speed u are subscribing (and remember the d/l speed might
slow down a lot if you are doing heavy browsing at the same time e.g. watching youtube)

Actually while watching youtube or other video sites you are (usually) downloading
the videos into your temp file. in short watching youtube = d/l

Its not the DNS. Its the throttling of video download.
