Oh thank you so much for the RS bypass info. Since yesterday, (13th Nov 2009) Streamyx
throttled the DL speed with RS address. DL speed down to like 10kB/s.

So much of campaign by the Malaysian Government that NOTHING will be blocked on the NET.
ALL LIES............ Penipu besar!!!

Now my DL speed back to normal. (Tested: W/O bypass - ~10 kB/s , With bypass: normal like b4 throttle)
Quite often can get 90+kB/s using free RS service (on Streamyx 1Mbps package) depending i'm downloading
any other files. Thanks!!!

Streamyx started having interruption around 10.15 pm (Ipoh mali) for some line to US and UK, Germany (maybe other parts of europe too)

Speedtest almost won't load !!!

Oh god, maybe some international line is damaged again!

Always the SAME problem over n over again.... for Streamyx...
Does other ISP in M'sia or neighbouring countries always have problem with their international line??
If not then why Streamyx......

If there is a problem they better make an announcement soon. It seems to be affecting

Aiyo normally also not that fast (narrow band) for international sites still need to shape the traffic????

Like that WHAT FOR THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT PROMISE SO CALLED HI-SPEED BROADBAND BY NEXT YEAR....
I think better make sure Streamyx is able to PROMISE the current broadband speed we're subscribing. (me on 1Mbps)
Jangan suka promise dan mulut manis shj ... M'sians now r now as dumb as u think ok....

if not wat for subscibe HI-SPEED but getting LOW-SPEED like usual for INTERNATIONAL sites (IMHO local speedtest memang laju)

One foolish thing Streamyx did is to throttle the speed for RS too much
until everyone suspicious enough to learn about the bypass...

normal dl w/o bypass is ok now frm RS but my hunch is that
TMNEt is still throttling the speed but not too much until everyone
can realise their dirty work......

Me in ipoh using OpenDNS ok 4 me! now speed ok but will wait till evening n check the
speed again 4 international site. Past 2 nite speed not very good...n it seems to b affecting ipoh too not
only klang valley (from what i gather frm the posts)

Yeah, since few nights ago very slow d/l from MU at night, morning n afternoon ok.

What is all this BULLSHIT from Streamyx throttling the internet speed we r PAYING for.
Already the internet package by Streamyx is not really that fast.. (i'm using 1 Mbps package)
some more they wanna cut the speed.

How can we browse the net properly then with websites nowadays getting more complicated with flash everywhere!!!!!

Yeah I realised about the 20 GB limit but still with Streamyx speed going like roller coaster throughout the day

fast on google dns.... it's quite logic anyway
