i bought an iphone n im using maxis. but i can onl reach the emergency calls screen....what can i do now? i cant use the phone

already reset the network just now.still cant use.nvmnd, will try reset few more time. Wifi password issue no problem for me. the wifii never working at all. hve switch on the "ask to join", but still not detect any wifi. lazy to restore coz later need to install back all the cydia/apps.

u haven activate?? just plug in the cable to ur iphone wait awhile then will be activate de la..

i tried jailbreak my maxis set running 3.1.3 using pwnagetool
during the custom fware restore it said fimrware not compatible
anyone facing it too?

Not all 3.1.3 can be jailbroken especially pre-installed 3Gs. Check out this link

if its a 3G, confirm you can restore and jailbreak
bootrom doesnt apply to you, i think ur steps might be incorrect, that's why

tethered or not has nothing to do with blackra1n. it's because of the new bootrom on the iphone.

Mine Still At Old BootRom.

you should put your device into DFU mode (iPhone screen is black - nothing showing). then from windows, go to device manager, look for USB controller and look for Apple iPhone USB Modem Driver. go to Details tab, the choose "Device Instance Path". you will then get a long string of characters. go to the last portion of the string, you will see something like "IBOOT:359.3.2"

if you get the number 359.3.2, then it is the new bootrom.

guys, any luck at all with the new bootrom? i can't even restore it to 3.1.2 firmware

nothing seems to work... not even custom firmware packages... sigh... iPhone is now unusable not unless i think i restore to original 3.1.3...

brojason ur tutorial for windows user rite? im at the last step to restore the cooked firmware but iTunes kept saying the fwware not compatible, just did it 2 times from last night. Still no showing any chance of succesful

before you try, please verify what bootrom version you are on. use the link that i have provided. it also has instructions for Mac.

if you are on the new boot rom, then chances are it will not be successful.... but you can give it a go and see how..

i help my fren to jb his newly i3gs v3.1.2 (7D11) with 05.11.07 modem fwire.,using blackra!n.
i done before to my i3gs and working fine but in this case,my fren i3gs come with this msg - device isn't eligible for the requested build." when i try to restore OS 3.1.2.
should i straight away jb or any other option?
