Guys, need some pointers here.

My friend just got her iPhone 3GS from US and she accidentally upgraded it to 3.1.3.

Anyways to get it jailbroken and unlocked? I've tried all the possible ways I can find on google but still, unable to jailbreak it. Any ways to even downgrade it back to 3.1.2 and JB again and all?

Your friend is very unlucky because there is NO way we can downgrade an iPhone 3GS fw 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 for now. The baseband is destined to be 05.12.1 .
No JB and no Unlock solution.

As expected. Just thought perhaps someone would have at least a way.

Anyhow, how long you think they'll come out with a JB and unlock solution for 3.1.3??

Most probably Geohot or the Dev Team will not do anything for 3.1.3. They will wait for the new 4.0 or when the new iPad is out.

I just go to settings there and do a "erase all contents and settings" , after that iphone cant boot up, it shows a picture to connect to iTunes.
when i plug into iTunes, it asks me to restore. But cant restore back to 3.1.2, it must auto update to 3,.1.3

i kinda did that to my phone before sending to maxis for replacement too...it becomes like when u 1st open ur brand new iphone right?

download a 3.1.2 .ipsw, shift + update, select the firmware and restore to 3.1.2.

Right~ Thats how restore to 3.1.2.

I realized that i caught ikee virus "ikee is never going to give it up" worm.
First of all, im using iPhone 2G last time n is JB b4 many times.
Then recently, i bought 3Gs and direct transfer my 2G iphone backup to my new 3GS. Since then i realize that the stupid ikee is in my background no matter what i do.

I haven JB my 3GS which is 3.1.2. Should upgrade to 3.1.3 solve the prob.
Most of the solutions at google website is to JB first only can change to password.

But i don't intent to JB my 3GS yet.

Any help guys?

bro teikwing, i already downloaded the ipsw. (iPhone2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw) which i downloaded from this forum as well.
this is the one right? when i shift click restore the ipsw, it says "the iphone could not be restored.. The device isn't eligible for the requested build"

well following what other forumers have said I think you can't restore back to 3.1.2 if you have upgraded to 3.1.3...

I have not upgraded anything bro, i was using 3.1.2 (100% sure)
But after i "erase all contents and settings" it become like this? phone must be restored to 3.1.3?

If you see the picture to connect to Tunes, most probably its in the DFU mode. And if you have JB using Blackra1n before, try to connect to the computer and run Blackra1n again. Erase all contents and settings will not erase your firmware.
