u paid the lite version ?

it all depends on the user preference/taste.. some of em' like the papago style of navigation.. while most of the ex garmin user will prefer the garmin over papago..

Maybe because they r used the the garmin interface.. thats why they think papago sucks.. well.. for me personally.. i've used both of em.. but i like papago better than garmin..

and yup.. ur using the lite or the pro version.. some of the feature in pro doesnt included in the lite version..

And to add on it, the tracking seems not very accurate, less accurate than Garmin on my N79...

Blame it on Garmin for not releasing an iPhone version. What matter me most is the map database. Tracking is not an issue. I still use my good ol' omnia with GMXT for that

erm can i know the comparisons between papago n garmin??

Well there is not much difference from garmin..Papago..and sygic...but gamin is more accuratevfir Malaysia maps but unfortunately there no app for iPhone..accurate here means that they have more poi compare to others..other than both ppg and sygic is very good..since I'm using both of it..

too bad there's no garmin for iphone ... currently using papago ... wifi/3g/edge can help it to lock faster

i heard many ppl complained saying tat ppg takes very long time to lock the satellite.. izit true??

I don't use PPG but I believe locking of satellite not depends on the software u use. It's depend on gps driver.

If you can't get the lock.. try use original maps.. after getting lock go back to PPG and see.

Whoa..sorry but I believe that is way misleading. Their difference is huge, UI, features, tracking capability, routing calculation method and so much more.

In fact the map database that will be the same since if you're using MfM for Garmin, highly likely it will have all the POIs like the one for PPG. Except that MFM still finalising their latest PPG map since the last hiatus.

Errr it only takes 1sec on my Iphone 4, coz its using GPS not A-GPS like the earlier 3GS or 3G version

I am using PPG latest version with iPhone 4, before this iPhone 3GS. PPG always crash during usage... and it's unusable.. anyone knows any tips to avoid PPG from crashing?

I just update my phone and i noticed alot of crashes when i play game..
Not sure if its the update that caused it though, coz i just got the phone for few days lolz.

Yes.. I'm using iOS 4.1.. I also noticed that, after upgrade to iOS4.1, PPG always crash makes it unusable. I think iOS4.1 is not the problem here, PPG maker should upgrade their app...

I dont know how tu mean "lag", but what i've noticed is that my "car" in the screen seems to move abit slower than my actual car...That caused me went into junctions earlier than the ones im supposed to go.

And also the re-route seems quite slow almost 5 seconds or more only it happens.


Sigh.....i liked my Garmin XT on my old N79 much more
