well.. better off you sign in with our iTunes account and download the updates.. then you sync ur iphone.. it should update your app

not gonna charge u anything since its using its own gps chip on the iphone plus the nav sat which is free to use and the maps are preinstalled on the app..

so u will not be charge.. unless u use the google maps where it will download data for the maps.. therefore you will be charged..

never been using it for real before this.. not until i went to melaka.. it guides me perfectly.. makes me looked like a local there.. hehe.. take turn with confidence of not getting lost in the favorite 'one way system' especially near the jonkers walk.. damn annoying ..

lagging issues? maybe when starting the app it lags.. but not while using it.. hehe..

try making sure the your location locked first then you can drive.. i dunno.. for me.. even when im driving.. it locks my position without any problem.. takes some time though.. maybe the environment around you makes it harder to lock out your position.. tall buildings perhaps?

anyone using tom tom here? did they updated the map.. last time i checked my friend's it was way outdated.. papago had the advantages of malfree maps.. it is better imo..

about going through tunnel.. is it the iphone or the apps using the a-gps system..

meaning the a-gps is a hardware or software feature?

becoz if your going into a tunnel, it will utilise the a-gps signal.. where they triangulate you from the cell tower..

You should try on the GPS on a car kit.. it makes the experience much more better..

it all depends on the user preference/taste.. some of em' like the papago style of navigation.. while most of the ex garmin user will prefer the garmin over papago..

Maybe because they r used the the garmin interface.. thats why they think papago sucks.. well.. for me personally.. i've used both of em.. but i like papago better than garmin..

and yup.. ur using the lite or the pro version.. some of the feature in pro doesnt included in the lite version..

nope.. just one purchase for a lifetime usability.. no charges after u bought it... hehehe

hmm.. why most of the ppg user on iphone 4 got bad experience ? im using ppg on 3gs.. i did noticed the lag.. but it wasnt that bad..

another tip i do when i want to get a fast lock is:

1. I open google maps till i get a signal lock of my position

2. I open ppg.. it should lock u right away..

Hope this helps to those suffers slow position lock..

can use google maps or not? if can maybe ur papago app got sumthing wrong lor.. try reinstall.. better yet.. redownload the app

Junction view will literally show u the junction and where to go( follow the junction or stay in the right lane)

The lite n pro differences i think only junction view (looks cool) n 3d buildings in certain area ( which is useless in my oppinion ).

Just buy the lite version.. As long as it can guide u to ur destination it would be more than enough rite?

Maybe u can pm @azbro about that.. I think he used to update maps from mfm..

Anyway.. Since u downloaded it recently.. The map should be updated already.. I think so
