yup.. it lags like hell.. dunno y.. both 3g from my fren doenst work as smooth as before after updated to os4.. somemore if u use papago,i cant imagine how lag ur machine will be..

lagging issues? maybe when starting the app it lags.. but not while using it.. hehe..

papago x5 running flawlessly on my xt720 compare to my i3gs.. their can lock ur position more faster than i3gs.....

why my PAPAGO in my iphone 3GS (OS4.0.1) unable to lock my currect location? for example, when i am in Shah Alam, the current location still showing me I am at Sungai Wang, it is not moving also when my car is moving too.

can anyone assist me?

try making sure the your location locked first then you can drive.. i dunno.. for me.. even when im driving.. it locks my position without any problem.. takes some time though.. maybe the environment around you makes it harder to lock out your position.. tall buildings perhaps?

Did u turn off the location service by mistake,? Try n check it. I was once turn off which I did not know n end up not using it for days..

anyone using tom tom here? did they updated the map.. last time i checked my friend's it was way outdated.. papago had the advantages of malfree maps.. it is better imo..

Just got Papago. Is it possible to map out a route from a POI to another? I tried routing but keep getting it to route from my current location to whatever POI I choose, no matter if I choose set that POI as starting point or destination.

Sorry yeah, new to GPS.

Oh and, don't ever try to route between East and West Malaysia (happened when I was trying to route between my selected POIs, both at West, but I am at East ) It will just keep trying and trying and trying ...and trying until the app crashes. When you get back in, it will keep on trying and trying and trying ...and trying again

Am I the only one that realized the iPhone's PPG has changed name to M7?

and it seems the app has taken the advanced function from Taiwan's PPG which include tunnel simulation.

Expect an update very soon since the app just updated today.

Something to ponder though, if PPG doesn't use A-GPS, how are they going to know where is our location in the tunnel?

Yup, M7.0 has a map update.. now downloading

A map update including a greenery part on non-developed area. Somehow it's not to my liking. Routing have yet to test. But the UI lagginess is still there

Tested the new map features. For me no problem. Fast signal lock and works fine. However, still running on 14th April 2010 map.

about going through tunnel.. is it the iphone or the apps using the a-gps system..

meaning the a-gps is a hardware or software feature?

becoz if your going into a tunnel, it will utilise the a-gps signal.. where they triangulate you from the cell tower..

tomtom is the best! navigate my way thru kl with ease =]
