MFM POI = got. Can search POI as usual like GMXT.
Only those Custom POI like speed reminder don't have (yet).
Text-to-Speech got. e.g "in 100m, turn left", "turn left, then turn right"  rclxub.gif

Results or reason ?  hmm.gif

It depends whether you want an integrated GPS app in your phone, or you prefer standalone dedicated GPS.
Both have pros and cons.

But, if you are very good with roads and can go everywhere without ever looking at maps or asking for directions, then you don't need GPS  rclxms.gif

I think it will be weird hearing ang moh speaking our road name. Probably more confusing than distance

GPS can't detect police.
What it does is alert you on possible speed trap spots BASED on historical data.

Not really. It is safer than you squinting your eyes trying to look the tiny 4" screen for road names whilst driving.

It's not that weird, same as an ang-moh asking for directions / road names in KL.

Then i think GPS apps is for travellers or city new comers. Say if I stay in KL for many years, I don't think I need GPS apps to find a place. If really necessary, I can simply use Apple Map to spot a place.

And look at the Papago file size ... it's more than 300 Mb ... what a memory leech sweat.gif

Hi, I really need help in installing MFM map to Garmin USA Version. This is what I did, change gmapsupp to gmapprom and transfer to ../storage-usa/.system. Change the permission correctly. Open Garmin, map loaded correctly. However, I've encountered the following problem

1. When searching address, the app crashes and bring me back to springboard
2. No voice navigation. No audio data found when go into setting, audit & display, navigation voice, it show "none"

Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, kinda new for gps on iphone so got a few questions here:
1. what is the difference of garmin USA and garmin streetpilot?
2. does garmin support jcv and 3d buildings now?
3. any other gps app that support jcv (beside papago)?
