Maybe he's more to the lazy Berbatov style? Not Kuyt?

Also, I don't see the point of sending out a striker who can't score. Even Kuyt's converted to a right winger.
*
Well, I'd rather send a striker who works hard rather than one who just provides a couple of 1-2s. Seriously, without Torres, our strike force is shit.

A few players didn't perform as well as they could and should. No point naming them. I am pleased with Krygiakos, Aurelio, Benayoun, Mascherano, Skrtle .. I think they tried their best and stretched themselves. I don't think Skrtle should be blamed Adebayor's goal because he was marking his "zone" .. haizzz

I will agree with Playboy21 that Ngog wasted too many passes and losses in possession. Btw, he's still young and inexperienced..so can't blame him much.
*
Yeap, but I don't think these players should wriggle away with excuses like, "I'm young and inexperienced". We've had enough of this already. Lucas, Babel and now Ngog. Lucas and Babel are MUCH better now, Lucas especially, but I don't see much improvement in Ngog's game. He played well against Birmingham, but today, he was bad.

Agreed. Plenty of surging runs, and he dribbled really well. Gerrard was quiet in the second half. It might have been a different case had Gerrard put on his first half performance in the second half.

What differentiates between Ngog and Babel is form and experience. Let's not compare them..

Well, maybe he played well in certain aspects like providing 1-2's, but just watch how he closed down defenders during the match. He was practically jogging towards defenders, and I saw 0% urgency in him when the score was level at 2-2. Masch, Lucas, Gerrard, Insua and the others were all surging forward, but Ngog was a little TOO relaxed if you ask me. My opinion that is.

Also, Voronin is capable of communicating better with other players. He provides good passes, and runs like a man. But yea, his finishing is cock.

*
ok this agree with you but I only see this happened at the last minutes. His acceleration also kinda slow and this game proved that he need a proper backup as he can't outrun the defenders like torres did. But he still doing a decent job compare to gerrard plus glad to see he tried to open up space at both flanks to lose his markers same like torres did.

In terms of ball control, and ability to keep possession, they're both HORRIBLE. But in terms of at least working hard for the team, I think Babel is much better than Ngog. Ngog really should stop being timid, and start attacking the ball instead of sticking behind defender's asses while they easily sweep the ball away.

Good thing you quoted. At least that shows our supporters dare to speak the truth unlike some sore losers saying losing to Burnley because of pitch problem... laugh.gif whistling.gif

Form, both are poor. Experience, both are inexperienced. I just feel that Babel has the will to work a LITTLE harder for the team compared to Ngog. Its either Ngog's oversized jersey, or he really runs like a girl. Seriously.

Talking about working hard, i dont think Torres works that hard in a team either. He poach the ball like Ngog does. Ngog works as a 2nd winger as he did in both halves. He contributed to the team like any other player in Liverpool. Dont put the blame game on again. We failed on Liverpool, Liverpool failed on us.
If you want to blame anyone, blame the player who missed his chance in the dying seconds.
