yeah, recent new model all display 1920x1080... hardly find 1920x1200 nowdays, sigh...

who know what is differ between TN & IPS? just want to know their strength & weakness

I'm using Dell 2209WA IPS Panel now. It's native resolution is 1680x1050, if I'm not mistaken.

But my p4 GC died, using on board GC and it supports till 1600x1200. Looked awkward actually.

I'm planning to get a used AGP GC that supports 1680x1050.
Want to ask, if the specification says max resolution 2048x1536, means it supports 1680x1050 and even 1920x1080?

Hope sifu here can clear my doubt.

i just bought acer H233H this week. i hook up my monitor to PC via DVI and my PS3 using HDMI. but im not using HDMI cable that come from ACER one. i just use my previous cap ayam HDMI cable. after i turn on my PC and PS3 i tried to change input from DVI to HDMI using INPUT button at monitor. but it seem cant function. so i tried change it under MENU/SETTING/INPUT and it successful. im already confius what the problem here.after that i unplug HDMI cable and change it with cable coming from acer. i hit that INPUT button and successfully changed the input from dvi to hdmi. is it this monitor must use a cable coming from ACER or it just my cable problem? or it cant use cap ayam cable? any ACER H233H owner face this issue? one more thing why ACM turned off automatically after i turned it on?

Giaogiao, if not mistaken ur p4 onboard graphic does not support 16:9 format; and it does not have any driver updated which allows you to edit the ratio as well.

Yeah it can support up to 2048x1536. So both resolution is not a problem for that AGP GC.

Rm50 and Rm100++.

Ati x1650 rreally so much more powerful, compared to 9550GE? Can support till what kind of game oh?

actually u can goto plaza lowyat to find some better or newer GC. as long as u have budget around RM300, can get ATI HD3400 or HD3600 Series GC

Ya,I know.But I am kind of lure by the 2560*1440 resolution.Though when wanna watch 1080p must switch.And must use dual dvi if want the max resolution.
