oh.. ya, i meant DVI. Thanks for clearing things up. So videowise no difference. Will stick with DVI connection then.
I thought HDMI will be better. My mistake!

im planing to buy 24", 5ms, 1920x1080, 70,000:1, Full HD, VGA/DVIHDMI , with price RM750, but i heard my friend say, there is one ACER 24 inch is much more better, anyone know what the brand is?

Are you mean that 1 with LED backlight?The pricing is around RM780.Using it now(forget the model) .Using it around 2 weeks,it performing wise,but it is only a TN　ｐａｎｅｌ．

StereophileDream, The chinese website provide by bboyspirit. They say the screen have balance issue (deflective). Did you notice it?

Add: The lcd design is nice. I like it.

I'm looking to purchase a LCD but not sure which to buy - LCD Monitor or TV? What are the difference anyway?

It is for watching movie and maybe Astro in my room. I think at least Full HD, and at least 24" and above.

My budget is around RM1000 - RM1,500.

No, too less. most now is display at 1920x1080. Perhaps now only can find is 2nd hand 24" or pretty old model 24". Have to search around at Garage Sales section.
