Hello, I would like to know what is the best monitor for me.  It's a birthday present for myself 

So, here are the specs that i want.

Use for -Gaming(PS3,360,PC), and everything that a pc could do.

Size -20"-32"

Slots -HDMI(PS3),DVI(PC)

Extras (No prob if tak ada) -[B]Speakers of course 

Price -Not too high, not too low. If can, a budget one.

do you guys feel 24 inch is a bit too big ?

playing games is fine but when doing word or excel...

Hi. I'm actually looking at Dell ST2410 LCD because it suits my budget of about rm800. Just wondering before I order it whether there is any smaller size IPS Full HD LCD that is within my budget. I'm not a gamer n I'm still using an ATI9550. I mostly do websurfing and photo editing. Also, are there any other 24" full HD alternatives beside the ST2410? Thanks!

StereophileDream, The chinese website provide by bboyspirit. They say the screen have balance issue (deflective). Did you notice it?

Add: The lcd design is nice. I like it.

I'm using Dell 2209WA IPS Panel now. It's native resolution is 1680x1050, if I'm not mistaken.

But my p4 GC died, using on board GC and it supports till 1600x1200. Looked awkward actually.

I'm planning to get a used AGP GC that supports 1680x1050.
Want to ask, if the specification says max resolution 2048x1536, means it supports 1680x1050 and even 1920x1080?

Hope sifu here can clear my doubt.

My friend planned to change from 24" to 30" but since he's currently short of RM2k, he change his plan and now he's planning on getting the 27" ultrasharp LCD. For me it's not worth paying RM 2k for extra 3"+ a bit sharper pict but I don't own one so he's not convinced with my words.
So I ask you guys, Is it worth it changing from 24" TN panel to 27" Ultrasharp LCD for gaming+watching Blu Ray Rip movies+other normal activities.

Ill check out Acer but then the brand image (esp for monitor seems low). Is Samsung recommended?

Also, where would be a place to shop for monitors eg Lowyat? or Digital Mall?

Hi there, I'd like to ask an opinion between this 2 models which is the
-ViewSonic vx2433wm
-Dell ST2410

I've searched thru this forum, and hardly find any good comparison between this 2, except that the dell is a true 24" and is a lil cheaper.

Which of this 2 model would you guys recommend? My main purpose is for PC Gaming and for the Playstation3 Thus the HDMI port is very important.

From what I've checked in reviews, the vx2433wm has 2ms response time while the ST2410 has 5ms response time, does it really matters? And how's the color quality between this 2 models in comparison

If theres any other model for the 24inch in this price range, please do recommend Thanks in advance!
