It is urgent bcos the trip is on 5th May - 10th May 2011..

I had a problem here, we book 5 day accommodation in HK, so we might nid to rush to go to Macau in the morning and back to HK at nite..

Is it possible?

The first day will be checking in hostel in Mong kok area and will walk around the area.. Avenue of Star, The Peak?
2nd day will go to Ocean Park for whole day.. (Not going to Disneyland)
3rd day might be going to Macau for whole day..?
4th day?
5th day shop around HK..
6th day preparing to go back..

How about the wax museum if we want to go there as well?
Please I need ur help on this.. I totally had no idea, bcos Im not a good planner and my travel frens push all the work to me >.<

Upon reaching HKIA roughly 11am, we might go to the citygate factory outlet for sightseeing, and hopefully will buy something lolx so around 1pm will go to mongkok check in..

I plan to go to Madame Tussaude on Day 5, since it is monday, so it will be less crowded.. No nid to wait so long for the tram? or is it possible to go after Ocean Park(Day 2)? which 1 will be better?
About the Wong Tai Shin Temple, when is the best time to go there?
And also Ngong Ping, is it recommend to go?

I read a guide from some website, it says better not going to the peak during weekend to avoid crowds.. Is it true?
Day 1 (Thur) HKIA (11 am arrival time) -> Citygate or Wong Tai Shin (optional) -> Mongkok area Lunch -> Check in Hostel (check in time 2 - 3 pm sad)-> Avenue of Star, Clock Tower -> Dinner at Temple Street -> Rest
I think u can skip Citygate or Wong Tai Shin. Can go to ur hostel strait away then leave ur baggage there so that you can go for lunch around ur hostel.
Arrival -> Hostel -> Lunch -> Check in -> Walk around Mongkok -> 7.30p.m Avenue of star -> Dinner at Temple street

Day 2 (Fri) Mongkok area Breakfast (Char Chan Teng) -> Ocean Park -> Dinner -> Rest early and preparing for next day adventure XD
This is ok. You can buy package of Ocean Park which consist of return bus fares and entry tickets at Central / Admiralty.


Day 3 (Sat) TST area or Macau Breakfast? -> Macau -> Dinner at Macau or HK?
I suggest Dinner at Macau. Try their Portuguese food!

Day 4 (Sun) Breakfast (Any recommend?) -> Ngong Ping -> 11.30am Lunch -> Citygate -> The Peak + Sky Terrace + Wax Museum + Dinner (Expensive to have dinner over there?) -> Causeway Bay? Wanted to try out the HK Island Old Tram at nite? lolx

Day 5 (Mon) Breakfast Dim sum (Any recommend?) -> Shopping XD around Kowloon area, Esprit, HnM and going to visit new Sky100 lolx + Lunch + Dessert + Dinner -> Rest
Dim sum? Lin Heung Tea House

Day 6 (Tue) Breakfast at 7.30am(can make it?) -> HKIA (10 am departure time)
You should have ur breakfast at the airport as you have to reach HKIA by 8a.m!

Is it recommended to go to Wong Tai Sin Temple on Sunday morning before going to shopping in Kowloon area? 

From the review, average waiting time for you to be seated is 30 mins, So like have to wait quite long lolx haha
But its ok as long as the food is nice and cheap haha.. so worth to wait lolx

I have a question, How to go to the dim sum restaurant using MTR? Exit Central or Sheung Wan station?

Sorry to hear abt the bad experience, care to elaborate further? Going to HK in 2 weeks time, might want to buy some scallop.  Previous trip I bought some scallop at Tai O, consider cheap and not bad.  This time will go with my aunt to buy at local shop.

One thing I do check is the unit of measurement, in HK and China, one ''kati'', could very well means 500gram only.

I also kena conned b4 during my 1st visit there but not in HK but Macau..Be extremely careful esp when tourist guide bring you to any medicine stores or factory.. This is almost sumilar to Bangkok Gems store scam.

Hi, I just book MAS ticket, travel at 9 June reach Hong Kong about 11pm, come back to KL at 12 June morning flight. Basically i only have 2 full days in Hong Kong. I plan go to Disney at 10 June while next day is Hong Kong main attraction. Any forumer can advise me what to do at that day? I plan to book hotel located at Yaumatei. Thanks
