why i go pc companion says my phone is up to date?

Because the first phase of the 2.1 update is for Nordic region and your phone is not registered as Nordic region phone, I've posted a link (pls refer back pages) on how to update to 2.1 if you don't want to wait for regional phone update which can take sometimes..

well try to root but got error say

@changfui, yeah better root your phone to do the region change.

@teamloks, are you trying to root 1.6 or 2.1 ? If 1.6 just use Universal AndRoot 1.6 beta 5.

@Shiro, all languages are there in 2.1 include chinese, bahasa melayu also got..When I first reboot the phone after update, I was presented with Bahasa Melayu....last time was France when in 1.6...

how to get root explorer ???

You can get root explorer from the market..yeah your phone need to be rooted in order root explorer to work...

some people said india will get their eclair this mid nov i wonder how malaysia >.>

can i root by use the super 1 click at 1.6 ???

it got many language, but how to use it?

i need to use chinese pinyin input, i cant find a option to enable it....

guys.. how to know my x10 is nordic region or not?

@sunnyboy, just go to Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Select locale and choose your preferred language..

Papago X5.1 does not work....

if choose locale as chinese, then the whole phone show chinese, i only want chinese input for sms
