Seem its impossible to find any onkyo or denon here (KK), my choice is limited to Pioneer since Onkyo only got old model; SR307 and SR507.

Anyone has any bias between SR307 and VSX819K, which one is better?

i reckon sr307 is the lowest entry level from onkyo, no?
whilst the vsx819 is a ladder up from vsx519

yeah, I guess since VSX819 is more expensive than VSX519 ...
but Onkyo is known for their performance, so I wonder if this 2 mode (SR307 & VSX819) is comparable?

i new with pioneer brand, one shop offer me rm250 for this speaker S-MS800CR (C+S). is this good price? any review for this speaker?

decent enough for starter setup. RM250 is a bargain if you're looking for the center and surround. i reckon a used unit was sold for RM550 not too long ago in garage sales.

Good for you. I've asked to buy 5 piece speaker M800 and the SA told me its around RM1800. He said its cheaper to buy a whole set (include AVr).

Btw, does anyone know what the preset code for Astro as I currently using multiple remote to do things. Hopefully can make aSTRO stanby by using 819H AVr.

hullo hullo...anyone tried updating their firmware on the BDP320 or BDP-LX52? i tried playing Avatar & Percy Jackson:The Lightning Thief and it says i need to update the f/w before i can play...

i didn't have a LAN cable with me yesterday...gonna give it a try later..is it as simple as plug in the LAN cable? and it will do the rest?

I think for new BD, almost all states to update the players software.

Question is: Even without updating it, does it play?

now suddenly paid RM18 for a LAN cable and found out need to use CD-R so tonight cant watch Avatar loorr....

nopee....that's why need to update. current version is 3.34a...new f/w is 3.65

its posted on pioneer Australia website many reports of problems playing Avatar...some also mentioned Book of Eli..i have no problem playing Book of Eli...only Avatar & Lightning Thief so far..
