Hi all pioneer sifu`s .
act, im very very new in this channel. my case is, i just bought New 42` Plasma TV. and planning to get HTIB.My budget for HT is aroud RM1.5k to 2k only.... after a few days, my fren poison me to get an AVR.then i cancel to get HTIB. now my question, which model is suitable for me (Entry Level) to buy.?? i have review AV-819 AVR..is it worth it..?? then i have to find all the speaker rite.?? anyone can guide me what to buy & where is the great shop. very Blur here !! |

HT in box has it all complete for the setup.
but if you interested in AVR, you may use that budget to buy one receiver and a pair stereo speakers first, then add other speakers next time. Sound quality would be much better but can be lack of bass until you buy subwoofer |

With 120W it's enough for get started + this AVR coming with 7 channel. MCACC will done everything for you in term of calibration for distance and speaker level.But now most HD technology coming with HDMI input/output. This is only the weakness i found with this amplifier

im a proud owner of HTP-RS50 todoroki.. yahuuuu i know its a low spec.. but ok laa for newbie like me.. suits me well.. got two hdmi ports for my POHD and dvd.. and later wants to connect byond to the digital in.. Added on March 12, 2010, 12:13 pmone question : what is the best setup for watching .mkv file using my POHD..? thanks.. *sorry for the extra post.. seems i cant edit my prev post.. thanks.. can u guys suggest me where can i get the cheapest speaker stand for my surround speakers (htp-rs50)..? my current stand seems too small for it.. been using it for pioneer HTIB satelite speakers

u guys using banana plugs for the speaker cable termination? i terminated my speaker cables with banana plugs and plugged into the 1019...not the snuggest fit...but so far i cant hear any difference in sound...
