QUOTE(goldenrudolph87 @ Apr 14 2010, 06:28 PM) Guys, can recomment me between razer mako and edifier S530D which one better? usage: 70% gaming, 29% movie, 1% music if you like to control you speakers a lot then Edifier s530 will let you control many functions if you just want it to make sound then razer mako but if you can afford razer mako, why not try Edifier S730? it's better than s530d and mako it's your choice to choose which one suit your taste

QUOTE(goldenrudolph87 @ Apr 14 2010, 08:18 PM) S730D is very over for me-.- cos my room not big enuff then s530d razer mako is too expensive and the cable used is weird and stupid you can save up for other stuff(like a dedicated soundcard) if you buy the s530d instead of wasting more money to get razer mako. your choice

QUOTE(onthefly @ Apr 25 2010, 02:26 PM) looking for a 2.1 speaker. more to mp3 than movie budget. max rm170 i looked around. many commented that sonic gear not good. currently looking at edifier m3200 which is rm170+- any other recommendation ? thanks Edifier E3100 Added on April 25, 2010, 3:05 pmQUOTE(busted85 @ Apr 23 2010, 01:04 PM) Hi, need some recommendation for 2.1 speaker Budget around RM 400. (a little bit extra is ok if necessary, cheaper also good) Currently I have Sonic Gear Evo 3 Sound card: Creative X-Fi Titanium Usage for myself only, in my own bed room and moderate volume (I don't blast my speakers), no need so powerful speaker I just want something that can can offer great sound quality and improvement over my old speaker. Use for gaming, music and watch tv show or movies. BTW, the speaker Watt rating is just how powerful right? Or does it affect sound quality? Thank you all I can recommend Edifier -C3 -S330 -R2000T (for music only) This post has been edited by power911: Apr 25 2010, 03:05 PM

you'll regret the bass created by HCS2330 and M3300SF if you are a formal user of Altec Lansing VS4121 but of course both models will provide tighter bass than VS4121

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Apr 25 2010, 06:02 PM) so altec lansing is a better choice here?im using it for music and gaming that vs4121 are always bad sounding it's just that the bass is loud only plus the downfiring is annoying and you need to put it on a good place then it'll sound good

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Apr 25 2010, 06:14 PM) i'll be placing thew satellites on my table and the subwoofer on the floor right below the table the M3300SF and HCS2330 is forward firing? obviously you're gonna place the sats on the table but the question is,what is your table made of? different table will make different sound subwoofer on the floor=good. you know something and yes M3300SF and HCS2330 is front-firing good luck hope this helps PS: that's why I sometimes don't like down-firing speakers. they are a headache as you need to combine them correctly with the surface it's easier to use a down-firing subwoofer than a down-firing midrange speaker

QUOTE(chingwooi @ Apr 25 2010, 07:18 PM) For the price okay la, can't expect much I gotta say, if you can find the old batch of 4121, that one really worth the price. BTW, are you sure 4121 has down firing satt? downfiring mids tweeters and woofers are still front firing and yes the old batch is awesome.
