your ears are already destroyed by the loud volume and the interruption of the crowd and other speakers

get yourself to some dedicated shop to test it.
don't let the dealer destroy your ear by playin' it loud

and get Edifier E3100 for RM140-170

I've just recommended Edifier E3100 that cost around RM170

you don't need subwoofer for your use as you don't want boomy bass
so these should suit you plus it saves space

both cost around RM350-RM400 range depends on the seller

changing to the speakers you've mentioned won't change much difference except how loud the bass is (t3 and promedia have serious bass)

-razer mako (you got serious razer trademark)
-aego m (you got serious sound quality)
-creative t3 (man...serious subwoofer passive radiator design)
-klipsch promedia (omg this provides serious bass quality)

most apple store will sell this harmon kardon soundsticks so it doesn't mean you have to go all the way to lowyat to test it out


oh I can tell you the bad points about this speaker tho
the volume control is not very user friendly
volume fluctuates when adjusting
it can get gradually louder.....AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT GOES RIDICULOUSLY LOUD.
that's something I don't really like about this speaker

other than that it's great for the price

aego m will win in your situation as both edifier speakers are meant for movies

I've tried this speaker a lot and the volume control is the only one stopping me from getting it
for instance I want to change the volume a little and it won't allow
another example was like "I wonder how loud is loud?" but then I have no answer till I play some songs and scare the guts outta me

I said one of the main thing
that doesn't mean only one main thing la


btw I do have other recommendations over S730 but it's a totally different species.
so I can't recommend because I don't know if this suits him or not.

s730 is good
especially for movies

but it doesn't perform very well in music (unless you don't mind lol)

anything will sound nice with the s730

music normally works best with studio speakers
simply like Edifier R1900TIII or R2000T and Creative T20/T40
but he wants upgrade from T40 so must recommend something awesome.

but still, s730 can be modded into one great speaker system for music.
it's just all about the $$

example
connect the satellite to a dedicated amp without using the subwoofer's built in amp
subwoofer connected to mixer out instead.
so you'll get satellites connected to amp with add-on subwoofer.
