with the same price, see that most HT include dvd player and some other unessential features (e.g. design). so u decide, what makes it sound better than no frills PC speaker that ultimately serves as a speaker, not a dvd-player and speaker combo. Edifier S530, DA5000Pro and Altec MX5021 have wireless infrared remote. both has its strength and weaknesses.

what are you looking for? great bass? wide soundstage? clear voices? movies can be anything, everyone is not looking at the same objectives.

I'm looking for clearer voices, not really a fan of bass (but of course it have to be acceptable level).

What else models i can look into if my budget lower than RM500? Maybe 300-500.

Hey guys, for a budget of RM150, should i get the edifier e3100 or m3100sf? seems like the m3100sf satellites are similar to m3300sf satellites, which is sort of promising... or perhaps u guys have other suggestions? purpose is movies and gaming... thanks in advance..

im in dilemma...either logitech (Z5500 or X-540) or edifier (S550 or DA5000)
how i wanna fully utilize the 5.1 speaker to be used with my laptop??
as i did research, if i connect using the mini jack connection to my laptop, it only use 2 front speaker and sub only...
any suggestion or recommendation??

Hey, need some recommendations, looking for 2.1 for PC, budget should be around RM250, don't really mind second hand as long as it's good, and don't need to boomy bass, just okay enough will do, what's the best I can get for my budget?

I've juggled around a couple, but mainly thinking about either M3300, C3, or VS4121. Which one would be better? C3 I know is overbudget, so is it really, really worth the top up?

Just top up abit, take the Hcs2330

c3 is the best among all you've listed there
top it up and get it

but if can't afford then get the little brother edifier c2/hcs2330

if not then buy a different wire for RM5 and above.

RM180 for c2 is a good deal
normally it costs RM250 and above

use for : mostly mp3 and movies, and little bit of gaming
preferred : logitech, edifier, altec lansing

(btw is klipsch gmx 2.1 still can be found around? how much isit as well?)

or try to top up more to get Edifier S330

~~ Tested Edifier M1335 at Carrefour Tropicana City. Asked the guy over there to open some song. He opened it at max. It's so nice. Lady gaga's poker face. Showed me the bass of 1335, without other interference since other speakers are all off. Quite nice. Going to test x-210 too. haha

you can try the low ends like Edifer E3100,M3300 for RM250 and below or the middle end HCS2330 / C2 for RM300 above
