Want to spend about 1k-1.2k on a set of speakers. I love bass but it doesn't have to be too loud. Just enough for my medium sized room will do.
I am currently without a soundcard and with Asus P6X58D-E motherboard. Wonder if spending all my budget on a set of speakers is wise, or whether I should allocate a portion to sound card as well? Any recommendations for my budget? P/s - Studying in the UK now so I actually have quite a good variety of choices  |

focal xs is a good speaker, except it would probably over his budget. built-in good DAC too, so you can skip the soundcard.
