ask at the galaxy s forum and see whether you can get better assistance

my experience with the galaxy S, the gps is dissapointing, unreliable and inaccurate. This is a hardware related issue , acknowledged by Samsung.
Based on my ownership of several recent Android/Windows Mobiles smartphones I will only give it a rating of 4 versus HTC HD (WM) - 10, HTC TP2 (WM) - 9, HTC HD2 on android -10, NexusOne (9), Dell Streak (9), iPhone 3GS/4 ( 8)

If GPS is important to you, better get a separate GPS device if you still need the phone

Is the GPS reception good. I read the samsung Galaxy S (Also big screen) GPS very week.

Currently my nokia N82 (Garmin) serve me well. But screen too small.

replace the files in the MALAYSIA folder

In the phone, the papago files is Navisea --> Maps --> MALAYSIA
In the pc, the pagagp file is Navi --> Maps --> MFM-PPG-101201C

Is it replacing all the files under MALAYSIA with all the files under MFM-PPG-101201C?

It doesnt work for me hmm.gif

when you generate the file in pc, do you select papago maps for android X5 version?

and you can keep both folder..

under \Navisea\Maps
you can have both
\Navisea\Maps\MALAYSIA
\Navisea\Maps\MFM-PPG-101201C

just need to go to select map in the setting in papago wink.gif

im using Xperia x10.... accuracy so far is superb.. satellite locking under 10secs ... havent tried during cloudy day yet...
last time i use Garmin on my Nokia e71, and the signal lost most of the time and very hard to get a signal lock even the sky is clear...

based on this experience alone, i feel Papago performs much better on my X10....with the junction preview, feels more safe when approaching them...
