I tried using google map with wifi..It can straight away connect to the gps..and when i take photo the gps can record my lat long too. but why does the papago software not working on my phone? I am using papago! x5.1 downloaded from papago webpage + MFM PPG version 1-12-10. Thanks It can definately work on the Galaxy S . Maybe your installation error - recheck your procedure

It finally works after playing alot setting at the lbsmodetest. But however the gps is not accurate? say now i at main road, it actually showing I am at the small road which is same direction with the main road. How to make it more precise? this does not happen when i use nokia N78 + garmin mobile XT.

This is one of the weak feature of the Galaxy S. There are many complaints about this inaccuracy and poor reliability of its GPS functions. I never faced such issues at all when installed on my previous NexusOne and present HD2 Android and Dell Streak

I tried to use gps today but its not working again. Actually I use GPS quite frequently so I really need the GPS for my phone. Dont want to invest another GPS device just because of this .

QUOTE(cwleong59 @ Nov 26 2010, 09:30 PM) During the 2 months trial period do you know you are using the trial version. Its there any indication or notification that it is a trial version. Yes, whn u start papago, on the front pg it mentions that but it doesnt say how long is the trial.

surely cannot. the map size alone is around 2-300 mb. depending on whether you tweak things inside or not.
my papago mobile unit is roughly 4gb in size inclusive multiple maps. my papago standlone unit has 9gb filled up.
my garmin stockpiled more.

QUOTE(Sampo @ Dec 13 2010, 12:43 AM) I think my libpapago.so is not so 'GOOD' version, where can I get a 'GOOD' copy? to install the papago apps only, it takes only 3.11MB in phone internal memory in my Aria the map is bigger, normally the map is copied to memory card
