if you set the gps setting to use both network and satellite, then the agps will be used

my AGPS is OFF on my Desire 2.2 Froyo ):

you mean your current location on the HTC sense weather? try to enable your agps and try again

It's not showing the current location properly.

Even with the 'Satellite ?' gone it still doesn't show the correct position. ):

is the location some where near you? or it is just very far away from your current location?

check menu-> settings-> location-> use GPS satellites

is it checked?

Yes it is. Location is roughly 12km Off.

can try the default maps? see is it the same location? off 12km? or it can show the correct location?

Is there any papago version that can display in landscape mode? beside papago M7... I got the M7 working but the POI icon is weird.. anyone know how to solve it?

after your google maps point to the correct location, try open papago again, is it still the same?

try to go to open sky in different location and wait for a while for it to get the satellite lock

I delete, reinstall, hard reset tried almost all still dont work. I'll try open sky and wait again at another spot. ):

If ur Google map is ok, that means ur GPS receiver should be fine.

hav u tried a different map version? maybe get a fresh copy and replace the one u have right now... who knows, it might be corrupted etc...

what's the latest map version? still 100415?

i think you can only view map, cannot navigate
