Apart from the 'floating' menu, it works fine on my Tab. Didn't use spare parts because my favorite 'free me' game will not works with it.

i think im facing the same problem as alisonlee

i installed PX5 on my Desire HD and it can launch properly buy there is 1 problem...which it searches the satellite freaking LONG! not sure is it my installation problem or phone problem. it can take like 20 mins to detect the setelite and 1 min later it lost it again. it's freaking frustrating i tell you. is anyone here facing this problem and know how to get it working properly?

i m using the latest mapfreemal extration (MFM-PPG-101201C) from the forum as the latest maps.

even the build in car panel apps which i used the free coupon to redeem on my Desire HD is taking forever to connect to satellite. at the top right it just says "searching for GPS..." and goes on and on and on....

For androids, just go to location and turn on mobile a-gps data plan and u should lock in within 10 secs, if not, normal gps will haf to search awhile, normally 3 - 10 mins depending smile.gif, well just spend RM0.10 and save your few mins !

tried for my SGS,looks like it needs 'GPS Test' and then 'GPS Booster Lite' before opening Papago X5 as recommended in this thread.. while googling for GPS Booster Lite, it seems that the app did something to the GPS configuration that even if the Booster app is uninstalled, the satellite locking seems faster.. will try that. laugh.gif

I do find that sometimes Papago cannot initialize the GPS. Therefore you find that your satellite always blinking to no end.

What I normally do is, minimize Papago, open google map, GPS initialize (can see from the notification bar), then maximize Papago from the notification bar (leave googlemap open).

YES you will face such problems using Galaxy S , which I have also used before

I do not face such issues on my previous NexusOne, and current HD2 ( Android ) and Dell Streak

oops. is it? unsure.gif

But one thing I can't figure out is when I test with other gps apps like Aura, Waze and even googlemap, the GPS initialize immediately. So I thought it is papago app problem. wink.gif

my experience, can't get my phone GPS to work inside one of the grand livina.

Using moto Defy, also test with another SGS inside the same car. Then it work when i go into other cars.

The only thing i'm suspecting .. glass tinted ><.
