Just bought Galaxy 5 today the seller said can support GPS via satellite & not data A-GPS so he installed papago x5 for me & said its supported but the software just dont work. Location & Signal already ON but no luck. Anyone can help?
Hi there, Im currently using papago x5 on my SGS as well. The blinking satellite icon indicate that your current position is not being locked by the satellite. What you need to do is :
1) Go to open air place, use your phone call pad, type *#*#3214789650#*#* .
2) Choose the 1st option which is "Get position Test"
3) Wait your GPS to work out until you get signal.
The number of satellite will shows out any satellite on your surrounding. Wait until those satellite lock your location.
It will display out your Latitude and Longitude and other information.
4) After few minutes, close everything and try to run your papago , it should be running now.
Alternative way , you can try to run your GSP test by Android apps named "GPS Test" and boost it with "GPS Booster Lite".
Anyway, i found out SGS's GPS System is really sucks.. u need to lock your current position everytime before run papago or it wont be working..
