I am not sure. Sometimes you need to use marketEnabler to simulate other carriers to see all the apps. But you can always try google it and download from source or other file sharing sites. Yes, it is a trial version for you to use for 3 months after which you need to activate it.

Run the exe file - it will extract into a folder. Copy all the files in the extracted folder and replace all the files in your card : Navisea/Maps/Malaysia

Trying to install android x5 on my Samsung tab. Not sure if I did the correct steps.

Downloaded the x5 main program from http://www.papago.com.tw/android/download/...all_SGMY_X5.htm

Extracted from the 5 rar files, I get :-
1) NaviSEA folder
2) PAPAGO_X5SEA_0806_WWEMarket.apk

First, I copied the NaviSEA folder to my SD card main folder and unplug usb. Nothing happens.

So I copied the apk file to SD card main folder also and execute/install the app. Then error shows saying map is not on my SD card asking me to download from papago website.

So I downloaded malaysia map from http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=9969, extracted the files and copied the files to the NaviSEA\Maps\MALAYSIA folder.

Same error shows. Tried executing/installing apk and no help.

I'm stuck.

copy :

1) NaviSEA folder
2) PAPAGO_X5SEA_0806_WWEMarket.apk

into your sd card without any folder on it (root directory)

then select PAPAGO_X5SEA_0806_WWEMarket.apk and install it..... btw which android version you are using ? mine is Froyo2.1

when you copy over the NaviSEA folder, make sure it's on the main SD card, and inside the NaviSEA should be the other folders, i.e /SD card/NaviSEA/ [all the folders], and not /SD card/NaviSEA/NaviSEA/ [folders]. i had the apk in the NaviSEA folder and still can install the application and run it. I did the first mistake of having a NaviSEA folder inside another NaviSEA folder.

see if that's the mistake you've made

Waeguk: if you sre using TAB the navisea folder must be in the internal sd card not the external sd card.

Thanks, benny888. You are right to find my mistake. It should be internal sd, not external sd. tongue.gif

Had startup problem with error "480x720 not supported" when running the app. I checked the folders, but there are no 480x720 folders. I only have 480x800 and 480x854. I renamed 480x800 to 600x1024 but error still shows.

I activated SPARE PARTS and the error is gone.

Which one should i rename anyway ... 480x800 or 480x854 ?

Also what is difference between registered vs trial version?

Just rename 480x854 . There should be one in the organic folder and several others in the different language subfolder eg cht, eng etc. make sure you rename all
trial version I remember is up to 15 days . Beyond that you need to purchase to obtain the unlock code
