If you already have the shifter with you.
You may meet some of the forummers and they may even do it for you for free. tongue.gif
No, you don't needa' remove your brakes.

hi, wanna ask, can i change my bike grip gear shifter to user posted image

do i need to remove the brakes or anything? and estimate, how much would it cost? thanks
*
Hi, you can change provided your grip shifter is 9-speed. And.. the retail price is around RM 87 on each side.

You will need to remove the brake levers and grips in order to install it. Make sure the distance is well balanced on each side.

When it's raining teardrops from heaven, you can still ride and enjoy it but having a very fun "Mud-Fest"!

None of us here even recommend leaving the bicycle outside.
It (Malaysia's hectic weather) will be bad for the bicycle. It may cause certain bicycle parts to rust.
I always remove the cycle computer from the holder even when I keep the bicycle inside the house. sweat.gif

I managed to find transport.
Problem is, it's been raining so I won't be going.
Don't wanna get caught in a Mud-Fest (but I'd love to be in it!) and dirty the car. doh.gif
