QUOTE(anderson1188 @ Oct 25 2009, 08:48 PM) Sigh, it took me around 3hrs? I reach the point at 11.30pm sharp. Had few stops due to cramps(less h2o intake) and also my CREE batteries had to be replaced (i used high mode). What about yours? what's your green tab number? |

QUOTE(anderson1188 @ Oct 25 2009, 11:25 PM) wow you were fast..me too had a few stops due to cramps as well..muscle just won't listen to my brain..probably pushed too hard earlier on.. I used a Cat-Eye waterproof on handlebar as backup light (on loan from MaxGuy, thanks to him Yeah man, we shouldn't have pushed too hard. Well, I'm still learning about the gearing combination, food, drinks, warming up, stretching, Climbing and Downhilling technique for Jamborees. Not easy for me too. To bro Stimix, welcome back to LYN. Hope you'll have speedy recovery. This post has been edited by RayKazansky: Oct 26 2009, 12:10 AM |

QUOTE(anderson1188 @ Oct 26 2009, 01:54 AM) ya..still much more to learn...while pedaling there're some people in group that shouts out the gearing combination to his groupmate though.. Yeah man... McD set can supply you energy for whole day. as for food drinks and stuff, didn't bother it though i had McD and went into the jungle without any hydration pack or water..luckily there're lots of checkpoint that provides water else i think i need to drink from river d..haha.. River water? Wow... say BIG NO. Colour was like Milo... haha. Where do you ride normally? Do you join the LYN Sunday rides? |

QUOTE(yupio @ Oct 26 2009, 03:25 PM) so xandman got himself an Anthem ha....X1, X2 or X3??? and whre's the pron pics?? Hi Yupio,Oh ya, i joined the Ride with CM (chief minister) ride event yesterday....did a 50km ride...was fun n nice weather...overall there's 3 caterogies 80km round island (penang), 50 km beginner to moderate and the 12km family rides...total registered riders around 1083 and the turnups should be around 90%. What a nice n successful event. Anyone here participated?? On my Anthem, tried to adjust the seatpost for its seat angle...surprised that the angle was unable to adjust....i mean from the looks, it should be able to (got the adjusment nut, got the adjustment gears, etc) but its just jammed...more like accidentally welded already duh... So anyone can recommend a good n nice seatpost that complements the Anthem? I would be looking at saddle too..the ori Velo that comes with it is like sitting on a piece of wood...after yesterday's ride, somehow i thought i can't feel the presence of my balls already. I recently bought WTB Rocket-V from BBS. The saddle is nice with curvy design and cushioning is not bad. It helps during my last Saturday's 45km offroad jamboree ride. Maybe you can try if they have one attached to a bike. Saddle is kinda personal. So far, my butt is okay with Velo Gel and Rocket-V. |

QUOTE(Thermal_Blaster @ Oct 27 2009, 08:40 PM) Wanna ask bit... I've seen old one last year. My friend bought around RM50 and it's blue in colour. The inner shell is made of white styrofoam looking material. In my opinion, I dare not recommend to anybody as the quality suits children on push car...haha Anyone know rockbike mtb helmet ok to buy or not? thanksĀ This post has been edited by RayKazansky: Oct 27 2009, 09:23 PM |

QUOTE(chamelion @ Oct 27 2009, 09:25 PM) btw, any recommendation for rear car carrier? or any advise that need to be take note? Try these links for quality racks:looking for one.. -> http://www.allenracks.com/ -> http://www.saris.com/p-299-bones-3-bike.aspx -> http://www.thule.com/en-GB/MY/Products/BikeCarriers.aspx [for Thule ClipOn Series] These are the reliable brands that some of my mates are using. As for the cheaper ones, they are not bad also like the one Xandman is using. It comes with additional straps to secure the bike just in case if the rubber strap fails. Try to scout around and look out for the rubber padding, strap quality, frame thickness and etc. (about the pricing, you can ask most si-foos here as these carriers can be found around Klang Valley) This post has been edited by RayKazansky: Oct 27 2009, 09:43 PM |
