thx man!
now i m clear d.....
so l need a platform!

Xand... a better way of understanding...

All About Pedals - Wiki

Anyway, for platform type, don't get Crank brothers. They didn't get good reviews. Usually for Kiara, u need something hollow coz the place is muddy or a lot of leaves. If you get crank bros, ur platforms will be filled with lotsa mud and leaves on it making u difficult to grip on.

For Crankbros, the most famous is their egg beater coz light, efficient and easy to clipon clip off.

The Wellgo B117 I got, basically I got to lift my foot to change position. U can't slide to better position.
Those sniper shown can actually slide to change position.
Pros and Cons la.
Too grippy... it is good for Kiara. Coz ur foot won't slip away.
But when u wanna slide, it takes longer time... therefore, more danger in certain sense.

btw, i though giant's default pedal not bad already?

it's the seat that i think need upgrade... the rest of component is not the best but definitely at acceptable level.

so xandman got himself an Anthem ha....X1, X2 or X3??? and whre's the pron pics??  tongue.gif

Oh ya, i joined the Ride with CM (chief minister) ride event yesterday....did a 50km ride...was fun n nice weather...overall there's 3 caterogies 80km round island (penang), 50 km beginner to moderate and the 12km family rides...total registered riders around 1083 and the turnups should be around 90%. What a nice n successful event. Anyone here participated??

On my Anthem, tried to adjust the seatpost for its seat angle...surprised that the angle was unable to adjust....i mean from the looks, it should be able to (got the adjusment nut, got the adjustment gears, etc) but its just jammed...more like accidentally welded already duh...

So anyone can recommend a good n nice seatpost that complements the Anthem? I would be looking at saddle too..the ori Velo that comes with it is like sitting on a piece of wood...after yesterday's ride, somehow i thought i can't feel the presence of my balls already.  blink.gif

Thanks Sniper and RayKazansky for the replies..

Don't think the WD40 can help here...the bolt already loosened but the metal piece that sits on the post is like welded to it although design wise, seems to be adjustable. Using a screwdriver to pry it apart does not yield any movement on the piece at all and my screwdriver is almost bengkok duh...the giant seatpost is really doh.gif Too bad my Anthem does not come with Race Face accessories.

The Syntace P6 looks nice. Even can do setback...which I prefer. Looks like this is it. Any idea about the price and yup Giant uses 30.9...its available in that size rite?? Anyone knows where I can get them in Malaysia or more precisely, Penang?

As for the saddle, the WTB Rocket V is in my list and same goes to Fizik Gobi XM as well...but so far, didn't get the chance to try either one out...pretty hard to find one that can let me test. Might have to go with the WTB first.

i need more practice...
i m scared to take corners at reasonable speed...i slow down kaw kaw to take corners...
i suck at changing gears....almost lost balance few times due to the jerk of the gear change....
and the stock saddle is like sitting on solid block of steel!
and y the hell does my front wheel squeak?
and the stock pedal is too small........

mo' moneh will fly!!!

other than that....
i enjoyed the ride!

padded shorts helps with painful butt! biggrin.gif

ill practice more often...so i can confidently join u ppl...
till now...confidence level.... -40%....

Where's the pic spam of your new bike?

To Ober:
You posted pictures of your new trail, but where's picture of you riding DH on your new trail...
To snapshots:
There's a picture of you and your Trance (may I know which model is this, X1/X2/X3) and who's the other guy with another Trance (that looks the same, grey-colored as yours)?
