On another note, I think I'm really growing out of my folding bike di. Any suggestion of a nice cheap cromoly frame with horizontal dropout?

Tim: Horizontal dropout = that thing to put your wheels in... as the name implies.. horizontal... so can adjust for chain slack. For single speed.

I thought usually all are using vertical type? (but ur picture got mixed issit? Vertical is horizontal?)

Most geared bikes have vertical dropout. Horizontal is mainly for fixed gear or single speed.
