It's stanchion oil ler boss ... not chain oil. Mmmm... I think it'll make a good but ULTRA expensive chain oil though.

i think giant or merida saddles that come from factory is defintely kill your bum. change to after markets, like WTB saddles or fzik

Yeah.. before that I was using finishline teflon as well.. it works but there's still residues left on the stanchion that attracts crap.

That stanchion lube thing's bloody cool in the sense that after wipe off, its super smooth but totally cannot feel any residue on the stanchion.

Yup.. it's market positioning. XTC positioned as "performance" hardtail mar... hence hardc*** saddle. Merida Matts positioned as "sports" hardtail... hence softerc*** saddles. Yukon/Boulder's saddles is same type as the Merida. They're all Velo anyways.

Change lor... saddle and pedals are always personal thing mar. Once reach home also straight away change.

Medium-low level of padding.... flexible shell (this is the key). You'll probably hate it when new... takes a few rides before it feels nice (and of course.. have to make sure you "parking properly" tongue.gif).

What saddle are you using right now? If it's the Merida Matts stock saddle... I suggest trying WTB Rocket V first so you don't get transition shock
