Good day!Being following this thread for a while. It's interesting. Being a newbie here need help from all sifu, taiko etc. Please suggest a bike for me! Budget max 10K,bought a T-Bolt last year,never ride, selling off now.
Pls suggest a bike that is mean for off-road, full suspension,etc.
BTW is it cheaper to buy Giant in Taiwan? Like how many % offcompare toMsia?

rm10k get giant anthem x1 or x2 loh. this month end, 2010 model reach shop.

you need to personal carry the bike in via flight trip cause mbt tax is high.

what are you planning on riding? xc/trail/AM/dh? kiara/frim/SAEP/BC/PCP?

XC=cross country, light, racy geometry, body positioned forward, good for flat and climbs. handlebar usually flat and not wide, long and flat/lowered stem, short fork (80-100mm) good for FRIM and jamborees/hashes, can do kiara with practice
AM=all mountain, can climb and descend, body position more straight up, riser bar, short stem, abit heavy, 120-160mm fork, can say all rounder.
DH=downhill, cant climb unless ur a mountain goat, heavy, body position almost vertical, , wide high rise handle bar, short/direct stem, long fork,good for going downhill
trail=in between XC and AM, 100-140mm fork, good for kiara too.


abit general la, may vary.

And don't think X1 2010 can be as cheap as RM10k.
