Another angle.

Had a look at the actual frame just now.

Oversized headtube, square huge top n downtube, comparatively aneroxic stays, reinforced BB box, traditional 71 n 73 degrees, <1.2kgs but the graphics..sigh..

Will you get one?

racy looking frame. looks like something good for the type of riding u do. thin stays seem good for shock absorption i guess.

Added on November 9, 2009, 10:26 pmbtw what's the price of the frame?

i was doing my ironing as you do on a rainy monday night and mind wandered into movie of cape no7, and how the lead character quits taipei and returns to his home village in the south. to think he rides all they way south and that leads to sex with chi tanaka, and thoughts of king liu riding all round taiwan in 20 days. i was thinking why dont we do the same, ride round something? maybe something to mull over on a TT session on a cold rainy night such as this?

Ahh... you forgot about Janet riding around Taiwan in her KHS folding bike. I mean... trail riding is nice... jumping around is exciting but riding around enjoying the scenery is discovering new things.. new places... new people.. new makan places... and new hawt chick roadies in lycras is a more fulfilling.

Do you really need to upgrade your XT V-brakes to M545 Disc-brakes?
I'm sure that if you change the XC V-brake pads, you'll notice quite a noticeable difference.
Also, V-brakes are much lighter than Disc-brakes. However, V-brakes don't work as well as Disc-brakes under wet/muddy conditions (which I doubt you'll find yourself caught in, unless you go for a Mud-Fest).
Just my 2 cents.

on groupset, bear in mind there is pirate version.

that's why you better to do your homework and learn how to identified one before get it online.

eg there is lots of 1.5L dueter bladder been offered but officially there is only 1,2 and 3L bladder.
