Another angle.
Had a look at the actual frame just now.
Oversized headtube, square huge top n downtube, comparatively aneroxic stays, reinforced BB box, traditional 71 n 73 degrees, <1.2kgs but the graphics..sigh..
Will you get one?
The top tube's white paint area look like place for you sign behind the credit card or fill in detail on courier's envelope laugh.gif

on groupset, bear in mind there is pirate version.

that's why you better to do your homework and learn how to identified one before get it online.

eg there is lots of 1.5L dueter bladder been offered but officially there is only 1,2 and 3L bladder.

i hit 38kmph with my HT in FRIM last week. cant go faster cause rear tire kept on air and need to steer same time.

so i guess my advice is: if wanna go fast go on flat, not on downhill. laugh.gif
go DH get trail or AM bike loh. anthem xc mah laugh.gif

Anthem should better then my HT lor...
For me a nub, it's impossible to get faster cause need to brake or position body to control the rear tire to avoid over/under steer or endo while try to navigate.

i think most are using stock but good stock blush.gif

Sometime if you are not 100% sure, it's better to get build one since you wont need to mess with geometry issues.

So far i think most reputable brand have quit ok combo. I would say scott have the best combo follow by Giant n trek.

But most of times it's sales person whom layan you that actually make the real dif.

saw a new localised magazine called Cycling Asia for rm 15. got a bit more to read for your money lo. but its just like a localised version of mb uk or cycling uk.
custom bikes actually mean the frame is tailor made just for. sweet but v expensive!
i think you mean custom assembled bikes where all the parts are selected by the owner and then put on the frame that you bought off the reack at the lbs.
it isnt really custom coz you end up putting on pretty much the same zoot parts as everybody else.
*
talking about hte mag, i was piss off with the rm15 spend when i bought the mag 1st time.

70% article is cut n paste from WMB and MBUK. I was like WTF the only education session is the lbs index in end pg.

Definitely NOT going to buy it anymore.

I would love this for my next new frame. Can I go for normal DH with this frame? rolleyes.gif

it's ht, once you reach certain speed, you spend lots afford to control the over/under steer which limit the speed. a 2.55 tire will help alot as that will be ur suspension.

there is 30% tax if i am not wrong. it's better puchase a full bike, ride few round on mud and pack it back. if custom stop, tell them it's for tournament or holiday backpack bike.

QUOTE(dinraxxx @ Nov 11 2009, 09:53 PM)
Yep.I'm using Continental Vertical(front tire) and Read Maxxis Larsen(Changing to Verticals to as it offers grip and traction). Will this be enough? It's 2.3 tire only wink.gif
*
need to balance the air pressure. too high is no grip, too low not enuf air volume to act as suspension.
